    Hello, great video! I was wondering something since I'm fairly new to all this. Would this setup continue to output a consistent 5v once other components are connected to it? I'm trying to recreate the AI synthesis VCO and his setup is really different but I haven't been able to get his -5v regulator to work, this one works great though. Worked the second I put it on the breadboard. If it was hooked into the first couple pins of an AS3340 that should work fine right?

      The AS3340 is a very low draw VCO and will work fine with this setup

      @@DIYELEKTRONICKITS Cool thanks for the info. I actually tried making this again this morning but now for whatever reason its not working again. Its 12v into pin 1 and -12v into pin 2, and the - 5v is being measured from gnd to pin 3, right? I'm using the l79l05acz version of the regulator (the small one without the top metal heatsink mount), does its pinout differ than the one in this video by chance?
