Exactly, I was a cat person till I got a dog, now I'm a cat and dog person. A beautiful black cat came with my home, I named her destiny, and she's come to like me mostly cause I feed her, she hides on the property, she won't come inside so I blocked the garage door , the little door open with a block so she can escape bad weather, her footprints are on my car hood. ❤ I truly think there is something wrong with people who do not get cats, or don't help an outside animal with shelter and food❤❤❤
Ok…I’ve seen every video you guys have done. I’m obsessed with the whole DIY French chateau video genre…I watch them all. As soon as I can get my 21 and 18 year old boys on their way…I wanna live there.

This was a great video. The new cat is just beautiful. The purring and cuddling are so nice, and that face is so sweet. You can never have enough cats, especially living on an acreage. I like the idea of two vids a week, but it is totally up to you if that is what you want.

We live in a neighborhood with stray cats and we have taken in 4 in 4 years 😂 I can appreciate the struggle but they are all precious kitties and I love them. Thank you for helping and rescuing the kitties! I love watching your videos. Your humor is hilarious 😂 😂😂 It's a beautiful thing to watch strangers who are such good people living out their dream. That kitten is adorable! His fawn coat and green eyes are a beautiful combination...and I'm not a cat person. He's a keeper! I'm sitting in my big wicker chair on my back porch watching the snow melt. I have my little Maltese/??? Mixed dog in my lap, under the blanket with the heater blowing to keep us warm...Life is good. Thanks for sharing your life with us. 🇺🇸
Sadly, the world is overwhelmed with stray and ferrel cats. My husband and I live in a small rural town in the US in our own catopia where we currently care for eleven kitties, mostly former wonderers, that we have neutered/spayed. All but one live indoor/outdoor. Over the years, as things happen to kitties, our population ebbs and flows. This is the most we’ve ever had. Last spring, four strays showed up. We think their human moved and abandoned them. Two neuters, one litter of four kittens, and two spays later, they are absolutely friendly and happy. One black, one ginger, and two himalayans. By the way, I think gingers are nearly or always males.

6:40 I would consider concrete only as a last resort. My suggestion - For a start clean the whole area out, saving any fallen stones. Then try rebuilding a small section of wall using the original stones. If the stones were originally set in mortar then use a lime mortar. If they were dry stacked, then just dry stack them again. Having some good gravel on hand, the kind that is well graded with fines, is helpful for filling gaps inside the wall. I'm currently rebuilding the dry stone walls around my garden. It's slow work but satisfying. It will look vastly better than anything using concrete. I've never done dry stone walling before. So you don't need a lifetime of experience. Just pay attention.
That little kitten is so sweet. When he was snuggling with you I almost cried! You are so kind. I would watch any video you make, as many times a week as you want to make them.
Taking a break from my design work to watch your lovely video..before getting on with my daily French lesson. When you clear off the crumbling stone wall, you should find evidence of iron posts or remnants of sill plates or something that will give you an idea of what kind of structure was there. With the wall subjected to the pressure of the higher ground behind it, I'm not surprised it is crumbling. Just another big job!

Not boring at all and what would be wrong with a crazy cat chateau series? The fact that you are striving to protect feral animals, raising children, renovating ancient buildings, a part of the grounds crew, decorator, photographer, videographer, vlogger, chief chef and bottle washer and have a quick wit, etc, etc, etc. No, you and Lincoln are never boring… inspirational, yes. Best to all of you from a not so sunny California.
That out building with the trough would be ideal with a foot of hay and a wall heater for your donkeys, it's got to be better than the no insulation wooded shed they have at present?
Maybe the stray cats could use the room next door, warm and dry. No need for payment for these ideas, xxx

Hi, would love to hear from you twice a week. Seems we can't get enough of you. As for Mr. Kitty, he stole the show. I know you're overloaded, but I'd say he's a keeper. What a sweetheart.
With a portable electric fence setup (solar based) and 3 or 4 goats, you could clean up those overgrown areas in your yard quite easily. You even have indoor shelter (outbuilding) already for goats. They will clear all the growth off those walls!
There may even be a goat herder in your area who does this as a service.
P.S. So impressed with all your accomplishments with your "free" 24 hours to yourself; I can't say I would have been that productive - not by a long shot! 😉
Two vlogs a week would be amazing! The kitty is very pretty and definitely a keeper! One thing about fleas and animal hides you have on the floor, the fleas will jump off the cat and lay eggs in the hide so be careful. I speak from experience...

I lived 35 years in California on the central coast. After years of dealing with overpopulation of feral cats. Ten neighbors pooled together a fund. Over 40 cats were fixed over a 2 week period. Neighborhood was restored and the cats were happy. Nights of cat fights disappeared.

Poor little guy! He looks just like my Nutter who passed away in October. He was a cream tabby just like this boy AND super sweet. But a little crazy too. 😄It made me sad to think he doesn’t have a home. I did notice the two vlogs and if you can, I will watch them for sure!

Both of you are certainly animal lovers. It is comforting to see the care you take of them. An 85 years English Lady living in southern France.I feel like I am going back in Time. When I did, what you have. Bought an ancient empty Bastide. Last inhabitants during WW2 when it was the headquarters of the Herault. German Headquarters. The children found an abandoned steel safe under over grown bushes. There were Many Splendid trees an arbetoream with rare essences. On different levels. The reason I loved it.
