What Is This Dark Monolith?

In this video I hike to a dark spire that I found while searching around an area that I was filming for another video. It turned out to be pretty impressive, and not at all what it looked like on google earth.
A quick note: I do not disclose locations to prevent the cycle of destruction resulting from geotagging. I am sorry about this, but I promise if you spend some time searching you can find cool places like this as well.
