After you disassemble the 4 envelopes, scan them, save them as a png or svg file, then cut them to any size with a Cricut and at least 60# card stock. Works great! Just make sure when resizing to select ALL the parts so they will be in proportion.
Thanks! Suggestion. If you had worn a lighter shirt, it would have been easier to see the envelops as you were working. Avoid black-on-black in the video.
love the idea of this video, It is extremely difficult to see what you are doing tho, it's way to dark. cant see the cutting and assembly very well. can you make another video with better lighting?
Just a thought, but... An envelope is a very basic shape and design - it's basically four triangles and a rectangle. If you don't want to buy the ones from Amazon you can literally just make your own when you're first starting out. 🤷♂️ It would be extra work and it would take longer, but you could also change them in any way you wanted. 🤷♂️
@@SeanDevine Yeah, I wasn't disagreeing with you that the envelopes are the easiest way to go. I was just saying there were other options if you needed or wanted them. And if I tried to explain why that was relevant to me, it would seem like self promotion. 😂 Great video, though. I really enjoyed it.
I almost thought you were going to do the same joke as the “Dual ACAAN” routine. “ You’re gonna need dry cement, some 2-sided tape, a fake thumb………..”.
Hey y’all out there. If you really wanted to make this amber envelope and your vision is not good like mine I’m legally blind, but I can still see quite a bit but not enough to make this envelope because the black there’s no contrast where I’m trying to cut when I’m cutting the pieces out. If you wanna know how I did it, I would try to make up a short video for you guys and I would post it on my webpage so you can go there and look at the UA-cam video if it’s OK with Sean on doing that just to help people that cannot see well like myself. Either that or maybe I’ll just send a video and he can attach to his if he wants to, but I really wanted to make this and it came out good then when I made and like I said, if you have not good enough vision contrast to make those cuts I came up with something to do that. OK Sean he was great. This item is great. I’m gonna be using it for my package trick so when I put the package away and they want to check it I just pull out the other side so they can inspect the cardscould do a lot of stuff with this thanks. Dennis.
@@SeanDevine alrighty Sean thank you very much. So now I just gotta find the time to put this little video together. Be advised I’m not into editing or anything like that so I don’t think it’s something you would want to post on your website. But if it’s OK, I’m just gonna, put another message on your website saying that if you want to if you don’t have very good vision, you can go to my right here so that you’re able to build this Himber envelope. it won’t be anything spectacular but it’ll just give you the basic information. Anyway, all I do is use a white sheet of paper and it’s just makes it perfect. All right John yes I sure do pick up a lot of stuff on your website. Thank you again. John Dennis.

Very true! But I think buying construction paper costs the same as those envelopes. And it’s just easier to have the template already made for you.
