I could have stuck knitting needles in my ears when Jordon was confused about the battle of Waterloo and William said about Nelson’s column! Nelson would have struggled at Waterloo, not only due to him being a naval officer, but also the fact that he was dead when the battle happened 😂. Nelson was the battle of Trafalgar, 1805. (He was famously killed during the battle). The Duke of Wellington (Arthur Wellesley) was the battle of Waterloo, 1815.
Jordan'll needs to sit through a few lectures before he's ready for an M.A. in History... The little French fellow was Napoleon? Is he aware of l'Entente Cordiale?
Wellington defeated Napoleon at Waterloo (1815), which is inland (in Belgium). The Battle of Trafalgar (1805) was an encounter between the British fleet, under Lord Nelson, and a combined fleet of French and Spanish vessels, and took place off southwestern Spain. Yes Spain (!) - it's a small world, as Jordan says!
I honestly nearly screamed hearing that whole dialogue lol. Nelson wouldn’t have been much use at Waterloo, not just because he was Naval man, but mostly due to the fact that he was dead at the time 😂.
@@him050 I suppose they could have kept the brandy in which his remains were preserved and sent that to the front. 'Tasted terrible but had plenty of body!
5 year old loo towel: ALWAYS have paper tissues/ handkerchiefs with you, even a few sheets in your pocket can save you in an unfortunate situation. Cheaters: You never know what goes on in a marriage, so don’t get involved unless children are in physical or emotional danger. Swimsuit malfunction: It could have happened to anyone. It will make for a fun anecdote one day. No one got hurt in the end. Vaseline: Don’t use anything that can be used for babies, the elderly or in a hospital if it’s not your own supply. It’s akin to using someone else’s toothbrush.
William has mentioned this a few times about the Chicago River with regards to the state of it's pollution in that it is very clean. Well sorry to burst his bubble but there are continuing issues with the rivers' contamination as show by the Illinoi Dept. of Health Fish Advisories - "Illinois has issued advisories regarding eating fish from the river due to PCB and mercury contamination, including a "do not eat" advisory for carp more than 12 inches long." I know that the Thames has a bad wrap, but so do the rivers in the US, and in some case, a lot worse problems than we in the UK do.
I’m in the states - New England- and my local liquor store sells little apperol spritz mixed drinks in little glass bottles. Just add ice and orange slices.
every morning i listen spotify on my way to sixth form and then watch with my full attention on a tuesday evening - the absolute joy of my week
I found it hysterical when William said, recounting the fire evacuation, 'Thank god I was wearing some nice clothes'! Typical William. 😂
I am a Chicagoan and I went back and looked at the Fox coverage and there he was! Glad you enjoyed your trip.

This is the best episode ever!!!!
The one about the bath bomb wasn't really an invasion of privacy since all the pictures would have been from before they bought the house.
Wouldn’t his the listeners last memory be the smiling laughing moment that showed he died happy

Steph 🇮🇪 Ireland
A radio producer and he never heard of Waterloo the song
I think he just didn't understand the meaning of the song, he thought it was about Waterloo in London not the Battle of Waterloo haha 😂
Nice to see you are enjoying a Manx gin
Hand dryers are the worst, better use paper towel or just air dry you hands without dryer.

That drink Jordan is disgusting I tried it in venice last year ...won't be having another one when I go in a couple of wks
Try Select (an aperif) spriz instead, it's the original, and so much more interestingly layerd and far less syrupy!
