This looked like so much fun! I did a few of these last year. I’m Texan, so we went with the brown or “burnt orange” spots, here. But I would sneak in some black around the edges of some spots. I made Texas Longhorns coozie for my sister. She’s a longhorn fan. I live in Aggieland and our middle daughter graduated from Texas A&M, so we’re Aggies in our house. I made my mom’s with cow print and buffalo check. It was so pretty! Beautiful job with this cup. Those cups will give you cramps when you first start carrying them, though. 😂 Thank you for sharing your skills with us!

Haha! Yes, these tumblers are big and heavy 🤣. Definitely more of a desk sitter for me rather than carrying it around!
Ohhh the burnt orange spot tumblers are probably gorgeous!!! They are definitely so much fun to make and every one is different ❤️

Oh my gosh, if you love highland cows (the tan ones) you should try making one with burnt orange spots! Another gal in the comments says that’s what she does because the cows in her area aren’t black and white they are more tan/brown! I need to try one with those colors too 😍

So pretty! What clear backing are you using for the decal?

Are you referring to the transfer tape I’m using to get the vinyl onto the tumbler?

So cute? How hard was it to avoid the handle areas during epoxying?

    • @whateverscleverboutique

It’s not too hard! Just a bit more time consuming. I just posted this tutorial that goes over the epoxying process so use for big Betty’s!

Do you have a video on how to epoxy that big Betty.
I just finished a Stanley dupe and I ended up having to dremel out around the brackets on my last coat.
Any pointers would be appreciated ty

Oh Danget! I will make a bonus video this week on how to epoxy these guys! It does take some finesse. I actually start each time with my tuner off and I work the epoxy around the little plugs. Once I like how it is around the plugs I then turn my turner on and continue epoxying the rest of the cup. Hopefully that makes sense! I will have a video up later this week!

@@whateverscleverboutique yes, makes perfect sense. Just requires a little different technique than what I’m used to but that’s ok. I’d love to learn from your tutorial. Thank you.
