      Thank you! I started zooming in from the day someone complained in the comments that my code wasn't very readable on a cell phone. And I think it was a good idea, and the videos are more interesting because of it.

    Very nice tutorial, I wanted this. But isn't it too complicated? Would it be easier to make planet and sun as separate objects in the scene? I would like to learn about making realistic planet shader

      Of course, you can add the sun, a planet, and light sources to the scene as separate objects. The video demonstrates how a similar effect can be achieved using only a shader on the WorldEnvironment, so all calculations are done on the GPU, which can be beneficial if I were to add many more stars and planets.

      Not nearly complicated enough! I'd immediately fall down a rabbit-hole of downloading the SIMBAD database and placing stars accurately based on a GPS synchronized clock source....
