We only have scorpions in zoos here, so the fact that it was in such a mundane place as London Heathrow Airport is just a glorious level of daft for us! Imagine it trying to get a flight to Ibiza with the lads!
We don't have native species of scorpions in the UK but there are invasive species of the Yellow Tailed European variety. These are usually under 2 inches in length and are mainly found around the Kent coast. I remember my wife pointing quite a few of them out at the Sheerness docks whilst we were waiting for the ferry to the Netherlands back in the eighties.
Whilst there are no native scorpions here,there is a population of European scorpions in Sheerness docks,Isles of Sheppey,in southeastern England, doing quite well

Are guarantee that horse hasn't been trained proper due to the fact is owned by travellers. On the 10th to just take the horses to a field like a stake in the ground and put a lead on it and leave it there. Not all travellers but some of them do

The one with the pony and trap reminds me of what happened this week in London. Some military horses were practising for trooping the colour. Five of them got spooked by some construction work, threw their riders and bolted through central London. Lots of damage to vehicles, two of the horses badly injured and the most bizarre scenes in the city since the pandemic.

Not entirely true. There is a small colony of yellow-tailed scorpions in Sheerness in Kent that have been there for well over a century. Odd but true.
