I just purchased this welder. I can only get it to arch using the wire on lift tig but It will not feed out more wire on lift tig when I change the mode to the other setting it will feed out good but don’t arch. So I tried to feed out some wire and it just burns the whole piece off at once what am I doing wrong?
Did everything in the video and it doesn’t weld, the wire feeds through it has electricity but no ark is generated, any thoughts (my setup was following the instruction manual and your video step by step)
hello my it seems strange that the arc does not strike if everything is connected well. Did you clean the metal before welding it? Have you connected the earth cable close to the piece to be welded always on the clean and ground metal?
Mind you it was my first time welding had same issue, mine was my own fault , you shoud press the wire feed and keep it pressed then touch the metal while keeping it pressed you will get your arc, i didn't know that i taught by pressing it it will only feed the wire so i would hit the metal and get no arc, then my friend told me, while pressing the mig gun and keeping it pressed touch the metal and it will start the arc, so yes stupid me 😂
Hello there... My problem is with mig mode.... basically it feeds the wire all the way out ....but once i try Make contact with metal it does nothing...i though it was a ground problem...so I tried a arc mode and it worked so arc mode worked fine but not mig.....any suggestions???
Hi, if everything is connected well, it is set up well, I don't understand why you are having problems. Does the wire run well on the wire drive roll? Maybe the problem is with the flashlight.
I just received mine late yesterday, trying to figure out what's wrong and your vid I think just showed I'm in the 10 wire mode and not 8.

Hi, I don't understand what you mean by wire, the lift tig has a tungsten electrode. But are you having problems with TIG or MIG?

Run ground cable to positive because gun will be your negative for arc

Did you run your ground from +? remember mig is + ground
Does this machine have a wire feed speed adustment?
