I made the mistake of skipping rolling 11-draws, because I thought I could better save cat food for better banners. Yet after watching videos where he was a combo slave I really regretted not getting him. I rolled on guaranteed Street Fighter Collab and next I seen this banner again. At that time I had like maybe 300 catfood and I didn't want to miss my chance, so I literally completed all the collab stages and even got all 4 crowns just to get the 30 catfood. At last I managed to get Kunio and I am really glad having him as my combo slave
I just got my account back and saw this Collab, remembered you always use him and figured he must me good for something rolled 750 draw and got Zeus from it so not a total waste
I don't have catfood😢, but I got one Uber from it, it's so good againts aku, shield piercing, slow, immunity to surges, are attack, and envolve gains 100%kockback

Agreed. My line ups are very similar. Almost never exclude kunio unless it’s a super niche stage that I am needing a certain combos. Typically using rich cat at that point so he’s not needed.
Kunio has been an amazing Combo Slave, but I don't see myself buying him if the cost isn't reduced to 750, although I must say that I farm this game day and night, so getting it back isn't a problem, and a thing you forgot to mention, the Banner is pretty good, you could get Thermae or Keiji, which are insanely good. Must see if buying it or no, I admit that's leaning towards yes. Also I don't think it's possible to have a better dojo cat
One of the best draws I’ve ever done came from this banner. I waited for the 100 percent Uber chance and ended up getting 2 Ubers (not including Kunio). They were Bora and Summoner Satoru. I’m still on Cats of the Cosmos 1 so Bora is helpful. Satoru is an anti-aku and we don’t have many of those Edit: 100 percent chance was 200 percent, anti-aku was anti-ski
There’s still a less than average amount. Compared to the amount of anti reds we have, anti aku is pretty rare. Plus Satoru doesn’t have a true form yet so there’s still hope

Grinded 750 cat food immendiately and got him (starter discount from anniversary) I did the following: - Both Christmas event stages 3 crowns - Both Battle cat nintendo event stages 3 crowns - The non ball filled crossover levels 3 crowns - Growing purple, red, blue (catamin) - Black Cyclone, Metal Cyclone, Red Cyclone (catamin) - Crazed moneko (catamin) - Some legend stages crowns Needless to say, I was busy lol😅 Worth it though! Got 2 other ubers on top of Kunio:D

I was waiting with 11 draw for this collab (it was painful to watch street fighter collab end without me rolling for blanka) but kunio is more important than blanka, because I have aphrodite as my anti alien nuker
While his stats are underwhelming for an uber, they are still perfectly usable. since its a combo slave you will be bringing regardless having a Free LD or Rusher Tank is actually quite nice just in case you need it to do something. Its not like other combo slaves that will not contribute at all in most scenarios. a generic 500 standing range LD will be useful in alot of situations as a 'just in case' unit.
i haved kunio and swap between 1st form and secocnds form for if i want another backliner/sniper or an extreme meatshield but tbh the cat combo is what counts

I would say he’s a must pull, because his combo is useful for cheesing some sol stages or if you’re just greedy with your rich cats

I can tell he is a wonderful substitution for my bad ubers, except that he takes 25 uber cateyes to deal the same dmg as my level 30 sea king
So what I just saw is, use if you don’t have Mina or jameira cat, and after wards it’s the best 1-slot combo unit
