One advice I have for her is to get plugged to a Bible reading and studying group. One last thing Mohammad, you are right. (this is not new, this stance was widespread in the early Christianity especially in the non trinitarian sects and in the Messianic Jews). Secondly, the term the messenger of God, in hebrew context doesn't refer to a human creature. The most common term for "messenger of God" in the Hebrew Bible is "Malakh Yahweh," which translates to "Angel of the Lord" or "Messenger of Yahweh." This angelic being is often depicted as a divine agent who appears to individuals, patriarchs, and prophets to deliver important messages or guidance from God. wait a second, you say! why are you connecting the Quran with the term in the Hebrew bible? well, let me explain it to you my friend: when the Quran was recited to the audience of the Quran in the 7th century, there was no Islamic theology, the hadith or sirah nabawiyah. the audience of the Quran weren't the people who had been indoctrinated by the Abbasid's narrative. the audience of the Quran who lived in the 7th century were very familiar with the Jewish and Christian concepts such as the messenger of God. It clearly wasn't understood at that time as a merely human being, rather as a divine being or maybe angel-like being. How about the human nature of Jesus. you can find the depictions that the human aspect of jesus in the Quran in so many verses. it's easy to find. But the key verse about the aspect of the human nature of Jesus in the Quran is the crucifixion verse in which the Quran says that it was 'shubbiha' to them - it was made to appear - to them. How can Allah did that to the Jews? Did Allah just randomly chose a person to replace Jesus on the cross? of course, not. You know that Allah wouldn't have not done such thing. Why would Allah sacrifice a random person for something that he had nothing to do? But the jews said that 'indeed we killed him, the Messiah'. How did they know that they had killed the Messiah? it's easy .. because the 'person' whom they killed was the just the human nature of Jesus, The real Jesus which is the (half) divine nature of Jesus was already raised by Allah unto himself. So, human nature of jesus was not the real human, it was only the apparition of his divine nature; thus Jesus didn't suffer on the cross, because the 'person' who was on the cross just his apparition. he didn't really die on the cross because the real Jesus was already raised by Allah unto himself. the basis of this view is Docetism, a Christology that was spread in early Christianity. but the Quran has brought this view into another level. Question: to whom this verse was supposed to be preached or recited? this verse was intended to be preached or recited to the audience of the Quran that had Jewish background. Because some Jews believe that according to the Torah ''You must bury him the same day, for anyone hanging on a tree is cursed of God.' Deut 21.23. Thus, this Quranic verse solves the problem. So, it's clear that the Quran was originally intended to preach that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. thus, the authors of the Quran must have been either non trinitarian Christians or Messianic Jews.

this is my response to a crucifixion verse in the Quran:
Where in the Quran says that Jesus had two natures? So, basically you are saying that you don't know anything about the Quran.
the authors of the Quran knew exactly about the theological debates between Christians and the Jews, and among the different Christian sects.
first of all, How did I know the Quran has authors? the Quran itself tells you about its origin so many times, for example the term kitaabu or book or writing in QS 2.2 'kitaabu' explains very clearly that the Quran had been in the form of a writing/text/book when the prophet recited it. Quran is recitation. when the prophet recited the Quranic verse to the audience of the Quran, where did he recite from? he recited from a text, a writing, a book, kitaabu. (this is consistent with the Quran).
firstly, the Quran confirms the virgin birth of Jesus, means that the Quran confirms that Jesus was divine, but if you check with other verses, we know that the Quran rejects that Jesus is GOD; thus, the Quran confirms that Jesus was divine but not fully divine, thus he is not God. (this is not new, this stance was widespread in the early Christianity especially in the non trinitarian sects and in the Messianic Jews).
Secondly, the term the messenger of God, in hebrew context doesn't refer to a human creature. The most common term for "messenger of God" in the Hebrew Bible is "Malakh Yahweh," which translates to "Angel of the Lord" or "Messenger of Yahweh." This angelic being is often depicted as a divine agent who appears to individuals, patriarchs, and prophets to deliver important messages or guidance from God.
wait a second, you say! why are you connecting the Quran with the term in the Hebrew bible? well, let me explain it to you my friend:
when the Quran was recited to the audience of the Quran in the 7th century, there was no Islamic theology, the hadith or sirah nabawiyah. the audience of the Quran weren't the people who had been indoctrinated by the Abbasid's narrative. the audience of the Quran who lived in the 7th century were very familiar with the Jewish and Christian concepts such as the messenger of God. It clearly wasn't understood at that time as a merely human being, rather as a divine being or maybe angel-like being.
How about the human nature of Jesus. you can find the depictions that the human aspect of jesus in the Quran in so many verses. it's easy to find. But the key verse about the aspect of the human nature of Jesus in the Quran is the crucifixion verse in which the Quran says that it was 'shubbiha' to them - it was made to appear - to them.
How can Allah did that to the Jews? Did Allah just randomly chose a person to replace Jesus on the cross? of course, not. You know that Allah wouldn't have not done such thing. Why would Allah sacrifice a random person for something that he had nothing to do?
But the jews said that 'indeed we killed him, the Messiah'. How did they know that they had killed the Messiah? it's easy .. because the 'person' whom they killed was the just the human nature of Jesus, The real Jesus which is the (half) divine nature of Jesus was already raised by Allah unto himself.
So, human nature of jesus was not the real human, it was only the apparition of his divine nature; thus Jesus didn't suffer on the cross, because the 'person' who was on the cross just his apparition. he didn't really die on the cross because the real Jesus was already raised by Allah unto himself.
the basis of this view is Docetism, a Christology that was spread in early Christianity. but the Quran has brought this view into another level.
Question: to whom this verse was supposed to be preached or recited? this verse was intended to be preached or recited to the audience of the Quran that had Jewish background. Because some Jews believe that according to the Torah ''You must bury him the same day, for anyone hanging on a tree is cursed of God.' Deut 21.23. Thus, this Quranic verse solves the problem.
So, it's clear that the Quran was originally intended to preach that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. thus, the authors of the Quran must have been either non trinitarian Christians or Messianic Jews.
