Feel like the key to the haaland situation is knowing the details on kdb's injury. He's been training but u can atleast bet pep will ease him into play gradually and he might not start 2 or 3 games even if fit to play
Btw on the Haaland topic, he has underperformed but surely the midfield make up without KDB and Foden just doesn't have the creativity or the killer pass ability that he needs. He isn't gna create a chance himself hence needs his midfield to create for him yet I think they have underperformed alot the past three games. The blame lies both ways yet the team not creating anything for him is alarm bell aswell as that's what U are there for, control the game and create the chances for Ur best player which they haven't done. For him to thrive, one or two of KDB/Foden even Grealish need to play as statistically he does better when they are on the pitch.

Other option is to sell Haaland next week and free up a load of cash that way. Haaland out means I have access to a lot more strikers

The major factor to consider is that the zonal weakness for the next 9 GWs favours Larsen more" Zonal Weakness of the next 9 opponents - BHA concede max chances through centre - CPA right wing - SOU left wing & centre - Fulham left wing - BOU left wing - EVE right wing - WHU centre - IPS left wing & centre - LEI left wing 5/9 are weak on their left. 4/9 through centre What do you think?
Hello Nick, Massive oversimplification in my opinion. Zonal analysis is helpful when used correctly, it requires at least some depth to arrive at a sufficient degree of accuracy (without guess work). Also you never buy a player with 9 GWs in mind really.

I’ve made some moves and would love your thoughts. I sold Raya to a 4.0 (I’ve got Flekken) to free up funds for upgrading Dibling to McNeil. But with Arsenal’s injuries and tricky fixtures coming up, I’m thinking of selling Gabriel for Aït-Nouri and Havertz for either Cunha or Strand Larsen. If I go with Strand Larsen, I could take a -8 hit to swap McNeil for Palmer! My potential team would be: Flekken, Trent, Gvardiol, Aït-Nouri, Rogers, Mbeumo, Palmer, Salah, Strand Larsen, Haaland, DCL. I still have my wildcard, and I don’t mind taking hits and playing aggressively. I’m currently ranked in the top 14k!
Hi Jian, Good Job Man. I’ve gotta disagree with the analysis on spurs. I get it, Ange wingers have historically been wide, but really brother, have you watched spurs the last 3-4 GWs it’s been raining chances for the wingers man. Timo Werner had so many chances when son was out. In GW11 when Haaland plays Brighton, Son plays Ipswich. I actually do agree with your analysis on Haaland but I disagree with the conclusion particularly for you. You actually genuinely think who the captain should be rather than stick the captain on Haaland everyweek. So I’ll ask the same question I asked at the beginning of the season …. How many goals does Haaland have to score to justify the 15.4m price tag. Is a season of 40EPL goals ~ 280pts will that be sufficient. Particularly if his replacements as a tandem can get you 200+ points each. ie Watkins & Palmer. In respect to DCL. I think he’s a sell - I get the fixtures are great however we need to actually understand that DCL consistently underperforms his xGi as a matter of fact he comes in at about 50% of his xGi. So basically you see these chances he has been missing, well that’s kinda expected. Scoring them would have been the surprising thing. Perhaps there should be a metric to properly weight xGi appropriately based on historical performance. Kinda reminds me of Darwin when he’s short of confidence. If Wissa gets 60mins per game per game over the next 5 he outscores DCL over that same period.

I've been toying with my team for the future landscape and Im almost certain unless things changes Im going without Haaland in gw 12. The team you can assemble without him is just crazy. Also its gonna be differential as I think people will be scared to hop off him. Also alot of people have gone haaland less and their rank is still very good even though he has scored 10 in 8 which is unsustaniable over the course of the season. Im looking at 3x premium defence(TAA, Gvardiol and Gabriel) 2x premium midfield (Salah and Palmer) and 2 expensive attackers in Jacskon/Havertz and Watkins. I just feel like the huge huge points are there for the taking! What are your thoughts? Do you think Haaland can carry the weight of 3x premium defence and 2 expensive strikers? (2x premium mids will be common with Haaland, so I dont count it as a upside). Also you get to keep Salah who is more explosive than Saka but also a differential ATP!
I planned my team with Haaland in 12, and it looks so strong, so doubt I’ll sell now. Haaland, Salah, Palmer, Havertz, Cunha, McNeil, Rogers - that’s my front seven, that’s a joke. Defence is just one premium, that aside it’s strong.
Solanke is a conundrum but I feel he will do better against low block teams. Palace and Ipswich are the games I will judge him on. United West Ham Brighton are teams that leave space in behind like Villa in GW10 which suits Son and Brennan.

I have more clarity surrounding Haaland. We can assess in 12, he’s too good to sell before BRI (A)

I am going to do a rogue move that i will not reveal till Friday. Its pretty bold and it will be surprising.
