    It's gorgeous - that neck heel looked perfect. Looking forward to the final chapter!
    The haters that say a CNC'd guitar isn't hand-made should watch this whole series ;)

    Seeing how much work and passion you put into your instruments is truly inspiring, also, I hope you do more series like this because these videos were so much fun to watch! Especially with Distorted Harmony in the background :)

    That was very beautiful and helpful work man. If I may ask, I had striped my guitar paint and going to a glue a a veneer top and stain it with water base stain,,, what do you recommend for a satin finish that be hard and won't color the stain ?
    Also the acrylic finish you used here is it like automotive clear coat stuff?
    Im a little lost bet. The various types Thanks in advance.

    I see in your website all the pick up options are bare knuckle. Is it possible to request some other pickups? Active ones for instance? Like fishman fluence moderns?

    really loving the series, but I think at times the background music is too loud or your voiceover too quiet, maybe it's just me.

      Thanks! I was afraid it will be too loud for some when I listen to it, it sounds fine with the music, but I guess I'll have to talk louder next time! thanks for the feedback man :)

    Was there any sanding or polishing after that final coat of lacquer? Thank you in advance

    • @ODGuitars
      @ODGuitars  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, I sand it very lightly with a 1000grit foam disc by Fastool
      The stain is just wood stain, and I spray acrylic laqauer on it with the last layer sprayed in a different technique in order to achieve the matte finish

    To replicate a neck joint like yours (set neck that sits flush with neck itself) how long should the neck pocket be? Should it be longer than your standard bolt on pocket?

    • @ODGuitars
      @ODGuitars  5 років тому +1

      I don't think it should be longer than the standard bolt-on, you should have a minimum of 60mm on the bass side.
