Sütlac is a very popular Turkish dessert and certainly one of the power suppliers for us during the day. It's quick to make with just a few ingredients like rice, me, cinnamon and vanilla.
Turkish rice pudding is incredibly creamy and aromatic and is an ideal dessert, especially in autumn and winter, and is quick and easy to prepare.
We decided on the pot variant, it also works in the oven :)
1. Pour milk (1 liter) into the pot and bring to the boil over low heat
2. Stir well again and again until a thin layer of foam forms
3. Add the rice (250 gr) and continue to simmer gently (about 20 minutes)
4. Stir gently again and again
5. Add some sugar (100 gr). Melt the sugar with a little mixture beforehand
6. Now add the sugar
7 Continue to mix well (approx. 10 minutes) until the mixture becomes thick. Then it can be served
8 Sprinkle with some cinnamon
9. Enjoy yourself!
