TwistedMexi has a mod called "Full House" that I use. MCCC is TOO massive for me and what I'd like to do but TM's version is simple and perfect for my needs.
nice! i might have to check out that mod. I think MCCC is more widely used for a lot of things, which is why i went this route. maybe I'll check out "full house" and do another video. it can never hurt to have more options. 😎
OMG! It took me almost 3 days to add all those dalmatians. I streamed twice which is probably why it took forever.
You have to choose one or the other. If you add both TwistedMexi Full House, and Mccc in your mods, and visa/versa, it stays on the EA loading screen. The game won't load/glitches with both mods. I used Full House before Mccc, which I prefer Mccc. Full House is just a mod to add more than 8. Mccc, you can use Cas cheats, and moodlet cheats. Etc. I use this to do reality shows lol.
@@MonkeyTornado that’s a great point! You can’t have both. I just needed to add more than 8 sims and nothing else so TM’s worked best for me. Those who want any extra features should definitely use MCCC.

I'm playing a game with one husband and 3 wives to see how many kids they can have. I put in enough beds in each wive's house on the lot where they'll each have like 9-12. So definitely gonna be almost 40 Sims by the time all the beds are filled. This video was super helpful. Thank you!! 🎉🎉

have you tried to shift click on an sim and "add to family" ? make sure you have testingcheats on if you're trying to do it that way. keep in mind, you can add more than 8 sims in Create-a-sim.

thanks !! glad this was some help!! just remember to go through CAS through MC Command Center tho. when you get more and more people in your household, going into create a sim the normal way might end up to losing sims. so be sure to click on the sim you want to go into cas with and do it through mc command center. happy simming.

Thanks for this knowledge, I sort of figured it out, once i installed MCCC, Now have some fun, with an amazing graphics and memory chip in my gamer PC. I can do what I wanted to do, There is a limit, but its way far better than the original settings of the game. And it works, THANKS AGAIN. WOOHOO!!! Thank you, this really helps with pets taking family sim slots. I don’t like the idea that getting a dog will control how big my families can get or that my big families can’t have dogs, cats, or horses.
right?! i don't like that either. especially now that horses count as a household member.
If you have a household with 8 sims and a household with 2 sims next to it and the one with 2 is a father and child sim and you move the father into the house with 8 will the child sim also move in and follow her daddy ? Or do I have to manually move the child sim as well ?
I actually don’t know how that would work but to be safe, I’d add the child first.

I have a problem I can use the MCCC and increase the household size but when I save the game and I load it again the game randomly deleted one of my sims and the number of my sims will be 8 again

I have 17 people in my household. How can I upload them all to the gallery? Im scared of losing them as ive spent a lot of time customizing them.
i don't think you can upload them to the gallery since you can technically only add up to 8 per household. BUT, you miht be able to maybe add the household to your library BUT, you might not be able to do that because you will need to get to CAS to add the family to the gallery but you can't go into CAS the normal way but if you can go through edit through MCCC, check to see if the add to gallery/library is available but i highly doubt you can.
what if i transfer the other 8 (plus the other one) to another lot/household in the same game then upload each household to the library just to save then just merge them all back together after. will it work?
@@tsukirunsu that should work because you're technically separating the families and when you want to merge them back, you can add to family by shift clicking on the sim.

Thank you for the tutorial, I changed the size of the household to 20 but it doesn't let me create any new sim, is it because I need to do something else? cause every time I check the household size has been saved to 20, so I dont know what to do.
you want me able to create a new sim within the household. you can only add sims to the household or have your sims make babies. You can create new households and then add them to the family through MCCC if you want to do that.

you can't add them via CAS. you have to add them by shift clicking on a sim and adding to family or having babies.

did you restart your game yet?? you should be able to breed animals. if not, you will need to have a set up where you can breed outside of that household and then add them into the household using MCCC. but you should be able to breed. not sure why it isnt working.

I did download the MCCC, but it keeps telling me that my mods or something is out dated and my sims keep disappear from the household for no reason. Even though I have remove all the mods.
Make sure the mods you have are the most current. If you’re not downloads then from curseforge. Make sure you’re downloading the mods from the modders website.

@@Nardvillain and also, I already expanded the number of household members from 8 to 30. They gave birth, but when I chose to change sim, the members disappeared againnnnnn
@@lamyen1233 don’t go into those households with more than 8 and also don’t go into CAs and you should be fine.
@@lamyen1233 also - as long as you don’t save - you won’t lose the progress you had prior to taking you mods out. You might need to download the updated version of mccc.

this applies to the save file. so once you activate this within the save file. this applies to all households in that save file.

I downloaded both mods but it doesn’t show up on the computer ?
I wonder if the mccc mod update changed around the settings. If you click on the computer and open up mccc, it should be exactly where I mentioned in the video. I have the most recent updated mod. I’ll go double check
I’ve tried so many different things, it doesn’t show up in game at all I do not have the option for it on the in game computer
@@emiliabevo it works for me and i have the. most updated MC Command Center. Make sure you have the most updated MC Command Center from the actual website or from Curseforge.
again the way to do it is:
click on a computer go to:
MCCC/Commands/Gameplay Settings/Household Size. Change the number and restart your game. You do have MCCC in your game tho? if not, you'll have to make sure the mod is in your mods folder. when you download it, make sure it's extracted first and then copied into your mods folder. go into your game settings to make sure you have mods and script mods enabled.
The mcc comand center updated which one to choose?
If you go to the website, choose that one. It’ll have the most up today’s mccc mod.
Hi! I tried increasing the household size to 14, but everytime after I save and open the game the extra sims disappear :( how to resolve this?
you can't go into create-a-sim the normal way. so if you want to adjust a few things with a specific sim, you'll need to click on that sim, go into mc command center and then CAS. only way you can work on sims without losing them.

are you clicking on a computer in the active household? if you have enabled the mod, you should be able to access mc command by clicking on a computer, a mailbox and a sim. Does it show up anywhere?

@@synsvids it might get annoying after a while going through cas through MC Command Center but that's the only way I know. sometimes you can move them into another lot if you really want to do some cas.fulleditmode editing.

It didn't work. I went to someone's house to join my hh I already had a hh of 5 so what I do wrong. I also restarted
We just got Some
Base game updates. So make sure your mccc is up To date. From there, if close out of the game and go back into that save file you made the household size change. It should work when you have testingcheats on. Just shift click to add to family or if they’re pregnant, they should be able to Have more kids. To
Be aware that you have ti enter cas through MCCC in any household with more than 8.
How do i move out sims from the household? Every time I try to do it won’t click the check mark because one of the houses holds is over 8 sims
I think moving a sim out of household is found in the phone feature. if it's not showing up, you might have to go to that specific house hold and then add that sim to family if you're just transferring a sim to another family.

@@season_storm2480 i will need to navigate through MC but you might have to do the move out sim through MC command center. click o nthe sim you want to move out and then click on the mc command center, it should be within the maintain sim feature where you can move, delete, make happy, etc. you might have to do it that way.

I have a sorta stupid question lol. If my household hasn't gone over the 8 sims max, can I still use CAS to edit or do I still need to go through MCCC? Mostly because I wanted to save my current household to my gallery but I don't want to risk anything happening
(I mostly use MCCC to modify household relationships after a sim has been created)
Yes. You can use CAS to edit normally. Only time you need to go into CAs through MCCC is when you have 9 or more.

if you're adding to the gallery, what I would do is add them to a different household and them add them to the family or summom them to the prroperty.

Hello, I'm being honest when i say I'm following this properly, but for some reason, i get the message saying my sims have moved into the household but when i get to the household they're not there and have just disappeared 😭

what do you. mean random ones? you can start adding more than 8 to a house by shift clicking and adding to the family or producing more babies. if you have autonomy on and sims can freely do whatever they want in your inactive played households, sims might generate in those families. if you don't want that, you might want to change that in game options.
thanks for this video but umm I have a problem.. I think this is something wrong with what I have done but I am not sure what I must have done.. when I open the electronic arts folder then go onto my mods where I usually drag in custom content for my sims to wear, I for some reason can't add more things , when I try it won't let me and I cannot interact with the current items in that folder like I cannot move or delete them, they are that grey color that you can't interact with. :( this is stopping me from adding the mc mod!! D:
I have a question when you say you like to create save files for large household what do you mean
when I say save files -- it means I like to start "new games" at the main menu. Each game is considered a "save file"

you will need to go into CAS through MCCC vs the normal way otherwise, you'll lose sims.
Once i press ok how do I restart the game for this setting to take effects???
exit out the game completely and open it back up. go back to that save file and it should be good to go.

you can't go into cas anymore. if you want to edit a sim, you'll need to go into mccc and do edit CAS . it should only bring up that sim in CAS. if you go into cas the regular way, you'll lose sims.

are you on windows or mac? if you are on mac, it'll automatically unzip it for you. if you're on windows, you might need to install a .zip software. it's free.

Do you lose your sims if the mod stops working because of an update?
Yes and no. If you need to disable for any reason, I’d recommend not using that save file.
I figured it out, tou cant let this mod stad in a Cage. You have to make sure that every document is like a single document as soon an you click on mods. If you understand what im saying. Im dutch so my English isent perfect 😂😄

You can add more than 8 to a family but no, you can’t add more than 8 sims in CAS
after i add more sims i went to cas to edit one and when i got back their disapear
You won't be able to go through CAS the normal way, you'll have to go through cas through that sims by using MCCC. I mentioned this step in the video.

You have to exit out completely and open the game back up

yeah, that's the protocol. all you do is just exit out of the game and reopen the game. once you do that, it's good to go.

unfortunately, you aren't able to have more than sims in a household for console.
