I tried it and it came out so soft and fluffy. I had a well known cook book and I must say, using your recipe made my fry baked 10x better. Thank you Natasha!
My mother and aunt has been sending me to ur page forever!! I finally came cuz I was tired asking them how to make this and that!!. Girl!!! thank you!!! Best fry bake i ever made!!! Your biggest tip was how to knead the dough. Mine tend to always come out hard...not today!!! Thanks Natasha!!!

Trini living in Las Vegas I made this fry bake Fuh de children last month and now they want fry bake every Saturday 🤨 thanks Natasha but at the same time NO THANKS YUH SET MEH UP! 🤦🏾♀️

Disclaimer: I am not trying to be a stoosh foodie. In St. Lucia, what you made is called floats. Many people call floats bakes too. Never heard someone call bakes floats. Floats are lighter compared to bakes, which are not as airy on the inside because the dough is thicker,so they are more filling.I grew up on bakes at home. :-) Are the terms bake and float used interchangeably in Trinidad? Thanks for the recipe. You are one of my go to UA-camrs when I feel like making a Trini dish.
I feeling to knead flour in d morning 🌞😊 This channel making me feel to cook more during this quarantine time 😭😂♥️♥️♥️ Watched this video at 12:05 am Those bakes look really nice

Omg sooooo excited and thanks for sharing this. I am always a huge FLOP with floats or fry bake as a whole. I tried your recipe today and I am truly impressed. They swole up and they are soft and fluffy. Thanks so much
Natasha…. Thanks for sharing your amazing recipe. All I’ve ever been able to achieve before were fried Crix…..,lol. I followed your steps and I was excited with my results. My bakes were light and fluffy. I hated kneading dough before, but now with the expectation of making first class bakes, I’m more inclined endure the feel of dough on my hands.
I just finished using your other recipe to make fry bakes as I have not done these in almost a decade... They came out great and hubby gave me several thumbs up 😊
I just made these bakes. I had tried years ago, but they were awful lol. These came out absolutely perfect. Thanks so much Natasha for taking the time to do these videos. Well I just try this recipe 09/09/2022, except I didn’t use the margarine. I also added, nutmeg which I love in my bakes, some cinnamon And a few drops of essence. From now on, this is how I will make mine without the margarine 🧈 as well! It was so soft, I love it, thanks Natasha!👍🏽👍🏽

Thank you so much for this video and recipe. In my country we make the same thing but called babakau. I'm from fiji. One of my grandmothers used to make the best kind where it was light and airy and not chewy and doughy like most kind people make. Nobody could make it exactly like her until today when I tried this out for my brunch. It was so good and exactly like hers. Thank you so much again for this
Hi Natasha, thank you for sharing you fry bake recipe. I only have one question: For the flour mixing is there any reason why one can't use an automatic mixer to create the dough ball instead of manually kneading the dough with your hands? Thank you!
Natasha darling I followed your recepie and made the bakes they came out lovely. Some of the shapes not perfect but who cares but sho cares the bakes are soft and nice. My son eating away. Thanks again.

I tried it, & for the first time ever, they actually puffed. GREAT RECIPE. How about Dahl phourri recipe
I baked it instead of frying and it came out like pita pocket. So I'm sticking to baking. It's much healthier
My 8 year old daughter and I made these- and they were soft, light and delicious ( the butter makes it soft and light) ... Amazing Bakes!
Grandma ain't going to come to the states In a while so I'll make it myself

Just made these for my kids this morning before school, never saw them eat so fast before! Thanks allot great recipe!
It is too thin, looks more like pita pockets. Like it when it is more solid. Good job though.
That's how floats are supposed to be. Regular fried bake is a bit more solid.
OMG!!!!!....I made this for breakfast this morning I was totally pleased with the results.
Excellent results. Thanks again
