Reason I go with FSR3 is because it allows me to use Frame Generation. And for some reason, having Frame Gen enabled with Nvidia Reflex actually has less input lag then without Frame Gen... Without Frame Gen, FPS hovers around 70-80 on High without RT and 60-70 on Best without RT. Really weird when you think about it.
Do the cutscenes subtitles flicker when you use frame gen? I experience this weird visual glitch while having fsr frame gen active. Also, the main menu with Hayabusa in the background flickers a lot. Besides those instances I haven’t noticed any other issues.
It feels so good to be a CAG player and NG fan nowadays. I like how this remake is more closer to Sigma 2 but takes elements from vanilla 2. Very much enjoying it. Fun af.
Are you sure your monitor is actually set to it's maximum refresh rate? Sometimes driver updates or other software/hardware changes can make your display default to 60hz refresh rate in the Windows settings. The Game Pass and Steam versions are essentially identical, so it must be an issue with your specific configuration.
@@MariusUrucu wow awsome Never played NG2 before u say huh dam thats awsome your the Audience teamNinja wanted to reach and its working :D glad u like it
This is weird. I had to download it on my SX because that somehow gave me a much smoother experience over my 3080 with the same settings from the video.... And I didn't see any driver updates either. Just finished the game last night. Enjoyed every second.
Same, I also have a 3080, ymmv but I found even though it doesn’t say it. You need to restart for some settings to actually change. I lowered settings and resolution. To my surprise I actually got worse fps until I restarted. Then I started to see improvements. Idk which settings specifically require a restart but I knew something wasn’t right immediately.
@@AM93000 Considering I'm not all that fond of the current state of AAA gaming, I think it's for the better. Still looks pretty all things considered. And it's Ninja Gaiden 2, so I know I'm getting a fun, ball busting difficult action game.
@@AM93000You can't exactly alter too much about Ninja Gaiden 2. I'd rather they keep the gameplay the same, with tweaks where it counts (enemy AI, QoL improvements, etc.)
The game was not marketed as a "remake". It was even described a "Remastered" on the Team Ninja website. It is purely a visual upgrade whilst trying to maintain the original art style and gameplay with limited changes/improvements. Team Ninja games are never visual powerhouses and they usually focus on gameplay. I'm personally very happy with what was released considering it was included as part of a subscription service and is sold at almost half the price of a new AAA release.
@@elijahdavis6729 It gets tough at points but manageable... The only hard part for me was the Water Dragon Boss in Chapter 6 and that's because I didn't knew to use the bazooka I got in the level beforehand
Damn I hate UE5. Does not look smooth at all. Assuming frame pacing problems or high levels of micro stutter? I have the original NG2 on XBSX in 4K at 60 and it' smooth as butter. I will give this version gander on my 9900X with AMD 7900XT to see how it performs. But typically UE5 performs like trash, or has jitter, or stutters, it's annoying. Using upscaling causes fizzle typically in UE5. I can't this engine.

Why on series x isn't this smooth?
@@mimi42826 Like I said, Frame Gen does the heavy lifting here. Without it I would have around 70-80 FPS on High Quality and with more input lag.

@Iulian_333 Haven't noticed that on my end. I only saw some ghosting in one cutscene (and it was during a scene jump cut)
Ninja Gaiden fans feasting this year.
I was so shocked when I saw a Ninja Gaiden 4 announced and Platinum Games of all companies working on it.

I'd love to get into the Ninja Gaiden series. They look like a ton of fun.

My PC version does not give me the 120 fps option, any clue ? Do you have the steam version or the gamepass version ?
Steam version. Sadly I don't have any idea how to help you

Remake means nothing. The graphic is not that great compared to other modern AAAs.

@ a true remake needs to be done from ground up and not just touch up on some some graphics. Look at Resident Evil 2 remake on pc, a true remake.
