- The Wolfpack got a huge home win and snapped an eight-game losing streak to Clemson with a 27-21 win over No. 9 Clemson in two overtimes. NC State quarterback Devin Leary found wide receiver Devin Carter in the back of the endzone on the first play of the second overtime to take the lead, and then the defense was able to get the stop to win the game. NC State dominated time of possession with 41:48 in the game compared to 18:12 for the Tigers. Leary threw for 238 yards and 4 touchdowns on 32-of-44 passing. Emeka Emezie set new career highs with 14 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown. For Clemson, wide receiver Justyn Ross caught eight passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei threw for 111 yards and two touchdowns, plus he ran for another 63 yards.

Kinda pathetic they talked about Clemson's injuries, but the best linebacker in the ACC, Peyton Wilson wasn't mentioned one time. He was the leader on defense. The other linebackers stepped their game up. Isaiah Moore and Drake Thomas are beasts!
Clemson didn't need to go for the touchdown on its final possession; they could have gone for the first down and take another set of downs. I am not sure why nobody mentioned that.

You're acting like he's not a good QB. Wasn't he like a 5-star recruit? The guy is good, but got thrown into the mix of having to be a national championship contender and that's a lot of pressure.

Wolfpack fan, but respect to Clemson. They're having a rough year. Go Pack! I like Clemson though. The Textile Bowl is always fun. Especially when State wins. I remember when Clemson was ranked 7th and we beat them like 33-7. 2013 I think
Alabama isn't a dynasty. The only sports dynasties were the Boston Celtics, Montreal Canadiens, and the UCLA Bruins. All have won at least 5 consecutive titles.

Two months later and Clemson has got it together imo. They're on fire. Glad we played them early in the season. They're gonna destroy Iowa state. Like I'm guessing a 35 point win. Again, I'm an NC State fan, but Clemson is rolling. They'll be back next year and be a top ten team like NC State should be, returning a first team All American, QB who's best in the league besides Pickett, we'll finally have our starting 3 LBers instead of just one, Tanner Ingle, safety, who's amazing at open field talking and many more. State might have more raw talent than Clemson next year and should be in the top 15 preseason and I believe Clemson should be too. They just were stalled out during their first 5 or 6 games. Remember they lost to Georgia 10-3. They've got plenty of talent, but I think next year, State takes the title. The cupcake coastal will send their best team to compete against the overwhelming Atlantic decision (think Duke, unc, GA Tech, VA Tech, Pitt- losing Pickett, Miami- overrated and losing King if I'm not mistaken and a few other scrubs). Basically winner of Atlantic will destroy the coastal winner and hoping State will be in at least a NY6 bowl, but I'm going all in on state because they're returning 95% of their talent and starters back, but State 💩 happens. We'll probably go undefeated and then lose to a 3-7 wake team. State has the 4th best attendance and income from football despite being dead last in spending. They've got great facilities and the coaches turn three star recruits into NFL talent. We're QBU also. Had 5 starting QBs two seasons ago in the NFL. Russell Wilson, Philip Rivers, Jacoby Brisset, Mike Glennon and Ryan Finley.
