As soon as the video started I knew I would teared up listening to you and hearing some questions being asked. A few days ago I thought "What if Kevin wrote a book with his own story, adding beautiful pictures"?! Then I quickly realized that you had no time for that. And I suddenly remembered when I wanted to save at least a lion from an awfully small circus! I went there after work every single day without seeing any of this stupid show but instead I checked every animals. The guys were suspicious and I know they suspected me to want to take action! The adult lions were awfully skinny. I asked one guy if he was the one who took "care" of them, he said yes! I asked him if I could touch the lions, he said yes so I did it and the lions didn't move, didn't see me, that when I was sure they were drugged! There was another one who was 8 months old an a little 2 months cub. I asked for cuddling the cub who apparently were the one "making the show"! As soon as I took this cub in my arms I thought that I had to do something ... But nobody was on my side. Cops didn't care saying it wasn't their problem! I drove to get meat and asked the guy to give it to lions right in front of me. This idiot tried to be nice with me and said I could come and see the show for free. I just asked until when they were here and he gave me a fake answer because he knew I had something in mind. I had noticed the cages of the truck were unlocked. I thought I could "steal" the cub but he needed his mom! The 8 month one was quite full of energy. But the 4 adults were in such a pitiful conditions. I checked the other animals. A donkey had a rope tight around the neck , I started to search for a knife in my bag but a guy approached and said he was about to take care of the situation! One day a young girl started to tell me there was a truck with many dogs to feed the lions ! A guy quickly arrived and told me his sister was crazy! I brought more food for all the animals and thought I should take the cub before they left but before I had to phone and ask for help. I had you in my mind but I didn't know how to reach you and I had to make a quick choice. But those monsters left 2 days earlier! They even cancelled their ridiculous show !!! I wanted to take them with the help of her friend who had enough room to hide them. But How taking the adults? I was so angry at them and at me because I can't pretend things! It was too o...it was too obvious I wanted to do something. Who would come every day checking and feeding animals without even caring about their stupid show? Of course I was suspicious! I failed! The monsters had powerful ars hidden in one of their huge trucks but they couldn't feed the lions! Kevin tell me what should I have done? If it happens again what can I do for the lions? I was so stupid 😞

I want to say a big heartfelt thank you to your wife and kids and family who have supported you and your decision to care for the animals at the sanctuary until they meet their end. They are an important part of your work as I’m sure that without them you would not be able to endure some of the tougher times you have seen. And also a big thank you to the employees at the sanctuary who do the feeding and animal husbandry. I will never forget how relieved I was that Clarence saw Charlie was in trouble after eating that tainted meat 11:45 and reported it in, saving his life. And on a Sunday! Kevin, I cried throughout this video. This is one of the most touching, heartwarming videos you’ve ever done. God chose you for a special mission to protect and preserve His beautiful creatures. Very few people will ever have this amazing opportunity, and you’ve done so much for the beautiful animals of our planet. Every animal that has been in your care has lived a wonderful, safe, happy life. I know how difficult it is to lose one of your animals. Every time I lost a dog, I thought my heart would break and it never got any easier. It’s like they take a piece of your heart when they pass. But when all your animals have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, you can know you have been pleasing to the Lord and it’s been a job well done. I wish every animal could live free without conflict with humans. But I do believe that our animals are in Heaven and they are free, without pain and suffering. I am a female in my 60’s in Texas. I live my dream of the hugs, through you, Kevin. Even though ‘majestic’ seems to be the closest and highest word I can use to describe their beauty, there really isn’t a ‘word’ for it, and also the black leopards with their GORGEOUS gleaming coat. There is no word, it’s just a feeling that is indescribable to see them in EACH and EVERY video. That feeling of awe NEVER goes away. I show my mother these videos often. She's 90 years old and has developed a version of Alzheimer that makes her see life like a little girl. She grew up on a farm and had very close bond with the animals and now,she can't remember anything in her life except her childhood and she remembers the animals most of all. She can still play all the songs she knew on the piano despite her memory loss and she is joyful. She enjoys very much watching these videos, especially how gentle and loving relationship the lions have with Kevin. I think these videos are very important because they make people aware of the importance of protecting these animals and their habitat. Indeed, reclaiming lost habitat for them and other endangered animals like the Cheetah is something all nations on the planet should be combining their forces to do. Unfortunately, these animals don't have a voice among politicians because they don't have voting rights. It's so tragic because there really is nothing in this existence as precious as the diversity of life.

Personally I think more people that work with wild animals in captivity should follow Kevin's example. If the keepers actually interact closely with the animals in their care then they can spot problems sooner and also it would add stimulation to the animal's life. Don't treat the animals as pets but interact with them in a similar way; talk to them, give them affection like scratches in the spots they can't reach, give them treats every now and again. A truly fantastic video Kevin, it was such a joy to see a lot of old faces that are no longer with us, that made me smile. Keep up the amazing work that you're doing, my man, the Earth needs more humans like your good self.

Kevin, I cried throughout this video. This is one of the most touching, heartwarming videos you’ve ever done. God chose you for a special mission to protect and preserve His beautiful creatures. Very few people will ever have this amazing opportunity, and you’ve done so much for the beautiful animals of our planet. Every animal that has been in your care has lived a wonderful, safe, happy life. I know how difficult it is to lose one of your animals. Every time I lost a dog, I thought my heart would break and it never got any easier. It’s like they take a piece of your heart when they pass. But when all your animals have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, you can know you have been pleasing to the Lord and it’s been a job well done. I wish every animal could live free without conflict with humans. But I do believe that our animals are in Heaven and they are free, without pain and suffering. I look forward to the day when we all join them. I am a member; however, I’m making an additional monthly donation to help you care for these amazing, precious creatures. God bless you. Even though ‘majestic’ seems to be the closest and highest word I can use to describe their beauty, there really isn’t a ‘word’ for it, and also the black leopards with their GORGEOUS gleaming coat. There can and should only be one, as it is.
I show my mother these videos often. She's 90 years old and has developed a version of Alzheimer that makes her see life like a little girl. She grew up on a farm and had very close bond with the animals and now,she can't remember anything in her life except her childhood and she remembers the animals most of all. She can still play all the songs she knew on the piano despite her memory loss and she is joyful. She enjoys very much watching these videos, especially how gentle and loving relationship the lions have with Kevin. I think these videos are very important because they make people aware of the importance of protecting these animals and their habitat. Indeed, reclaiming lost habitat for them and other endangered animals like the Cheetah is something all nations on the planet should be combining their forces to do. Unfortunately, these animals don't have a voice among politicians because they don't have voting rights. It's so tragic because there really is nothing in this existence as precious as the diversity of life.

Personally I think more people that work with wild animals in captivity should follow Kevin's example.
If the keepers actually interact closely with the animals in their care then they can spot problems sooner and also it would add stimulation to the animal's life.
Don't treat the animals as pets but interact with them in a similar way; talk to them, give them affection like scratches in the spots they can't reach, give them treats every now and again.
A truly fantastic video Kevin, it was such a joy to see a lot of old faces that are no longer with us, that made me smile. Keep up the amazing work that you're doing, my man, the Earth needs more humans like your good self.
