Saw the movie last night, not gonna spoil but all ima say Willem Dafoe surpassed his performance in Spider-Man 1. This man *IS* Green Goblin
And Alfred Molina as doc ock, loved his performance
Oddly enough, the original trilogy of villains(Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Sandman) are the best live action spiderman villains to date.
Red Goblin is one of the most amazing characters as a villain with a great origin story which can be easily replicated in MCU, (after watching spiderman: NWH)
I would be so happy to see holland's version of spiderman fighting with red goblin in main MCU with the help of venom and other spider folks from different realities.
At this stage, Marvel can do anything... Marvel exceeds expectation and delivers phenomenally on fan service.
And those badass covers by Alex Ross made him look fucking sick
Personally I think Red Goblin should of been called HemoGoblin, but that is because I love naming puns maybe a bit too much.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the brief time Marvel tried to repackage Green Goblin as a Hero in the 90s.
Basically, Ben Urich's nephew Phil found one of Norman's abandoned Goblin Hideouts with all types of Goblin tech inside and decides to use it to become a super hero, he had a short lived ongoing and everything.
It wasn't anything groundbreaking and seemed to struggle finding an identity but it was definitely an interesting idea.

That actually sounds Dope as Hell and like something I might do if there was a way to use that Goblin Gas to become a Super Soldier, but not develope Multiple personality disorder in the Sam Raimi Spiderman movie 😅🕷️👹. I'd probably call myself Oni instead of a Goblin though. And paint everything in different shades of red and such and with Tiger stripes.

ultimate norman was a BEAST! he was a literal pain in Peters ass the entire series. and let him know off back he knew who was and that he created him 😭 and he’s literally responsible for peter dying and giving us the Miles in the comics today
It's really creative how they could come up with something so brilliant to twist his origin of how he got abilities or his looks
Just saw the movie, not gonna spoil it but Green Goblin was one of the best parts of the movie
I'm pretty sure he's mixing Ultimate Norman being the creator of the spider that bit Peter with 616 origin, that the Spider was just an average spider that was accidently irradiated.

Red Goblin is definitely my favorite. We have a first appearance of a new Goblin coming in ASM 88. Her name is Queen Goblin. Her character, costume, and weapon designs are pretty dope.

I do like Harry Osborn as a Hero when he is New Goblin from the Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy and then he became a 'NEW' Hobgoblin in Marvel's Spider-Man (2018).

2:51 Well all due respect, dude, I think you're confusing the classic origin of Peter Parker with the recent Disney XD as well as Ultimate Spider-Man and the first amazing Spider-Man film. Norman had nothing to do with Peter's origin in marvel 616.

4:38 the OZ serum was also experimented on spiders and one test subject escaped and bit Peter Parker and almost killed him. Upon analysis from a stolen blood sample, which showed peters sells breaking down at first, Norman commissioned one of his cronies to kill off the kid to cover his tracks. But when the assassin fails due to Peter's new spider like abilities, the agenda changed and Norman idiotically believe that "if a spider infected with Oz gives Peter Parker the powers of a spider, then wouldnt a mainlined injection of Oz give me the proportionate powers of...me?" 🤦🏻♂️ Nuts before he went goblin nuts.
Green Goblin (1610) from the Ultimate Marvel universe is my personal favorite.

I would state that Spiderman Archnemisis is Doctor Octopus and Peter Parker Archnemisis is Green Goblin at least from memory that is what Stan Lee stated although I might have got it the wrong way round.
