Yes. Any LTTO Blaster will function this way. They all have that hosting beacon too that'll kill your LC vest. I suppose a good trick to have would be to use a Radar Extreme sensor vest, since they're unaffected by the beacon, and just use that if you don't want to open up the blaster and disable the beacon.
This is an old video (and you may have found out already this next info), but didn’t Toymax had actually published Laser Challenge Pro back in 1993... the Laser Challenge from 1996 was the the first in series without cord connections between gun and sensor... 🙄 I still remember how I liked to play with both 1993 and 1996 versions with my brother. The 1993 felt actually more asvanced compared to the 1996, but that might be due to the 1996 version being ”prize dropping” enhancement. The LC Pro had also this problem of having the complex code system, and the booklet what came with it got lost... the ”vest” was also a bit uncomfortable on shoulders, and one of the shoulders broke (but we fixed it with steel rings to hold it together). Alas, both have been given away...
Teams Settings for Laser Challenge were not introduced until 2000. The sets released before this do not have any teams settings. It's not a huge problem unless you're shooting at your own teammates.
TV remotes can cause damage to the vests too, at least to the gray one as far as i know, we discovered this a long time ago after playing i left my vest on, then when we turned the tv on with the remote, the vest made a damage sound.
Yes and no. It depends on what sets you're getting. Laser Challenge had a LONG lifespan as a brand in the US. Some of those sets had Teams settings while others didn't. It depends on what set you're getting.
ok i have a question and i hope that you can answer this. i am about to buy laser challange for my kids and befor i do i want to kno is there a way to make teams for them?
is there a system with front and back vest like the v2? that makes it sooooo fair, playing this and being able to cover the sensor sucks...i had the v2 and loved it, wasnt there a sensor on the gun too? thank you for ur reply
We used Laser Challenge with front and rear sensors for many years and, if anything, it was more difficult to hit players from the front with that system than it was for the Sensor-On-Gun design like the LTTO, LTX, and LTAR systems have. Even if players were trying to play fairly, the low torso-worn sensor on the front could be hard to hit if they were using two hands to aim their blaster. We don't have this issue with the LTX and LTAR systems that our group currently uses. We also don't have issues with the gun sensor being covered unless someone is cheating, which doesn't happen often with us.
hi, im trying to find some new guns that will work with my old worlds of wonder laser tag stuff. any suggestions? I'm not trying to mod stuff but if it's my only option I may. thanks
WoW Gear is compatible with Lazer Tag Team Ops to a certain extent. While I'm not personally familiar with how backwards-compatible they are or what you need to do, I do remember that LTTO is able to do this. Some Google/UA-cam searches should bring something up.
Frank Conchos Well the system my group is using right now is all Lazer Tag brand stuff. Tiger / Hasbro makes 'em. We mostly use Phoenix LTXs and LTARs. They are cross-compatible with eachother and also work with the older LTTO gear. Good range, great quality, and much easier to get. LTXs have been out of production for a couple years, but LTARs are still on store shelves.

Hi Bazookafied, I want to buy the LC vest and I want to know if it could take hit from the LTAR lazer tag gun?
Will TMB's work in the same way LTTO Deluxes will?
Blast bazooka compatible with ltx?
Can you try the vest with dinasty laser guns
I don't have any Dynasty gear to test them with.

do you know what the "Internet/phone " entry in the back of the first vest is for?
Matias Ferro
attaches the vest to the blaster so it will register on the system.
It's a port to plug a back sensor into.

Do you know where and if the v2 is for sale
Laser Challenge V2 has been out-of-production since 1998. The only way to find 'em anymore is eBay and Thrift Stores.
Ya i had one and loved it, do you recommend one now highly thats on the market now?
