Hi Grandpa Carl, Lucy's recent release of her concert performance of "Hallelujah" was marvelous, but it didn't have the intimate connection that we make with Lucy in her studio release, and I consider it to be the perfect production. Best ever. She was 16 and 9 months old when this was released and her voice was just as beautiful then as it is now. Goosebumps galore! Thanks for your reaction. Kit

The live version of this is just so much more rich in tone than this version. I did think she could improve on this song but she always surprises me. Really enjoyed your reaction. Grandpa Carl - Thx for this reaction! - The Incomparable Lucy Thomas is always a pleasure to listen too. This is such a great song and I believe Lucy sings it better than anyone. She was 16 when she released this epic studio version. She just turned 20 and did her 1st live public concert in March, Manchester UK - If you have time I recommend you check out any of the songs from that LIVE event - they are all stunning! So far they have released 3 songs - Hallelujah, We can change the world and Somewhere probably more to be released any time now. Thx again!

Hi Grandpa this is a fabulous rendition of this song over 46 million views on UA-cam .She has released a new version of this song Its a live recording from her concert in March held in the Stoller hall Manchester, she sang it as her encore after singing 16 other songs. Grandpa Just discovered your channel and see you have done 3 Lucy songs so I subbed to your channel and I must say I recognise ALL the names that have commented here so Lucy's followers are here. As a FYI Lucy and Chris Broom of Cavendish Records, Lucys record co have NO PROBLEM with you using her music, no copyright problems just be sure to mention Lucy Thomas Music and use away her material you will have no copy right problems !!! Thanks for the review of theis studio HALLELUJAH lucy was just 16 when this was recorded and the video/song that intro'd me to and hooked me on Lucy. it just so happens Lucy performed this song at her Manchester concert in March of this year as an encore 17th song she sung and changed it up some, low register to start them really ramped it up after the Bridge and brought it home in style, suggest you give a listen and react or at least listen to the latest LIVE version. Also would suggest any of her songs with Martha her little sister, PIE JESU, MARY DID YOU KNOW, WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD most recent or their THE PRAYER a couple of years ago. Also check out any of Lucys originals from ROSIE the Musical available on her ROSIE the Musical channel. Thanks a bunch !!!
