Geismar's revolutionary PEM LEM track-laying system explained / Adjacent track methodology

Geismar's PEM motorized gantries and LEM motorized lorries work in "hives" of up to 16 synchronized units to lay turnouts and pre-assemble track sections. This system is much safer (no risk of collapse) and more accurate than using cranes. It allows for a high productivity with 1 operator being able to remote control up to 16 PEM-LEMs. In this particular instance, 16 PEM-LEMs are used to lay a 160m pre-assembled track section using the adjacent track.
