  • The climb to the Port de Cabús on the border between Andorra and Spain is among the highest in the Pyrenees (2,302m). The road is paved on the Andorran side, but not on the Spanish side. The pass is a legal anomaly in that there are no border controls there, despite it forming the outer border of the Schengen Area, which usually features robust passport checks. Port de Cabús pass was historically significant as it was an important smuggling route into and out of Spain; nowadays it is used more by adventure sports enthusiasts who take to it in 4x4 vehicles, motorcycles and quad bikes. Before getting to Port de Cabús, which is situated right on the border with Spain, you must first cross the Col de la Botella and the rather peculiar Storm in a Teacup sculpture. It is this last 6km which offer the finest views. Kawasaki Z1000SX
