Okay, since he never actually specified what temperature he was using in the oven and anything with sugar in it will burn super easily I did a little research. Pre-heat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Break your white chocolate (A good quality white chocolate, you need that high cocoa butter content so the chocolate doesn't just burn!) into 1" to 2" pieces and spread them out into a single layer onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper (it saves on clean up, trust me).
Set a timer for 5 minutes, by this time the chocolate will be melted enough you can stir and scrape it for the first time and spread it back out into a thin layer. Place it back into the oven and repeat the stirring, scraping, and spreading process every 10 minutes for 55 minutes until the chocolate is a deep caramel color and smooth. If your chocolate is grainy simply continue the stir, scrape, and spread process until the chocolate fully melts and the graininess is gone.
Once your chocolate is caramel colored and smooth, take it out of the oven. Stir, scrape, and spread the chocolate on the cookie sheet one last time and transfer the parchment paper with the spread out toasted chocolate onto a new, cool baking sheet. Stick it in the freezer until the chocolate cools and sets (about 10 minutes). Remove the now set chocolate from the parchment paper and break into small 1"-2" pieces. Place in an airtight container in a cool, dark place for up to 3 months. Do not refrigerate or freeze the chocolate as that will have an adverse effect on the sugars and chocolate absorbs foreign tastes and smells very easily.
You have a new follower, I found you a couple days ago while looking for a recipe for gingerbread latte. I am using your recipe and love it, have watched several other videos also. I am a 67 year old grandma and thoroughly enjoy watching you. Also am following you on Instagram. keep those videos coming, thanks!
I'm 37 and I truly enjoy watching him too
Thank you so much for your kind comment!
i have made this drink like 3 times now ! and i must say this video recipe best resembles what the drink at starbucks actually tastes like. THANK YOU for saving me over $5 on a holiday drink and now i can make it all year long
What temp do u toast at?
@@wizardabrakadabra i did it i think at 200 very low
@@wizardabrakadabra also maybe strain it after you mix it with the milk bc mine was a lil chunky nothing major but just so you have it smooth
Glad you liked it!!
Omg this is my FAV drink thank youuu
I have been looking for this forever, yay thanks for uploading!
You’re welcome!
Last year I was the only one who order it said the barista then the day after I didn’t order it because I had no money they removed it
And it back and I’m still the only one who orders it
As a frappuccino it is basically crack. I wait all year for it.
I am in love with you and your energy 😍
Thank you so muchhhhh I love this and wanted to make it at home
The way you talk with your hands is my favorite. I love it!!! Lol
Definitely going to try this!! For another way to do it, buy the Fontana white chocolate from Amazon (it is pricy, about $50) but it lasts a while. Also buy Starbucks Toffee syrup. The toffee will act as the "toated" flavor 🤗.
@Dhianey Campos I put 2 pumps, fir a Venti🤗
So the fontana choco white sauce and the toffee syrup together?
Hi I’m a new subscriber. I’m going to start making my own drinks from your channel. I love the personality.
Thank u sm! Welcome!!!
Thank you
getting distracted by his gazillion hand movements lol. But thanks for this. needed it
Can you make an iced caramel brûlée latte??!
I want a jeffree star mirror in your hands. immediately! I’ll call him.
Did you guys know that instant coffee and espresso can be mixed in water without having to heat it? It will dissolve in any temperature water hehe great video btw! ☺️☺️
iced vanilla chai tea latte please
I’m so upset I’m just now finding this video/you but you are now going to save me like $100 a month thank youuuuu ❤️
I need to know can you use the white mocha creamer instead of milk!!!
Earlyyyy
I used white chocolate chips and it did not work. I read that you need a white chocolate with at least 27% cocoa
I just ended up with a bunch of burnt crumbles and I stirred every 10 minutes and the longer it was in the oven the worse it got
You probably scorched it. Watch your oven temp. No higher than 200°F. If you did that, then try sticking the chocolate in as soon as you turn the oven on- let it heat up as the oven does so its less of a temperature shock. (Still stir every 10mins though) the second it starts looking golden, it's done

What is the temperature? U did not say in the video.
200F for 45-50min
Ur not saying what temp ur toasting at and I've burned 2 bars already 🙄
I'm not the UA-camr but in my comment on here I explained in detail how to toast the chocolate if you want more info. The long and short of it is 250 degrees Fahrenheit and stir/scrape it every 10 minutes for 55 minutes until it's smooth and caramel colored. Make sure to use good white chocolate with a high cocoa butter content so it won't just immediately burn.
It the very beginning he says 200
Wayyy too much work😆😆
