I’ve never been so excited to get back out. I gotta say it was pretty hard driving by the river during prime conditions and beautiful green/blue water, knowing fish were being caught.
I love doing videos down there, especially when it’s nice weather! This made for a fun first trip back. I will be doing a lot more coastal stuff this year. Thanks for the support!

Thank you Tom, it’s always soft but never this bad. I didn’t think about it until later that night but everything was flooding a week or two ago. There was more of a buildup of debris and sand this time. I wasn’t expecting to get stuck so easily lol. Thanks for watching

Great video Nick. Nice to see the Oregon coast. Neoguri ramen is very delicious. Many Koreans enjoy Neoguri ramen. we put a spoonful hot pepper sauce(gochujang in korean language) in there. Taste is quite different. You feel it. Thank you for the videos.

This setup is so much more convenient. I feel more organized and comfortable... two things I must have lol. I’m sure you will see me out there one of these days. I will keep an eye out for your rig

For running around on slick rocks, jetties, etc.....use felt soles. Either buy some boots with them already, or buy a set of felt soles, a pair of boots you can grind the sole off of, and glue them on (shoe goo works).

Gotta invest in some muck boots man! A little spendy, yes, but well worth it IMO. I guess I just feel like its usually miserable enough on the coast so trying to make yourself as comfortable as possible is huge. Love the videos man! Can learn a lot by watching others and you do a good job at explaining things

I should probably mention i'm watching and counting waves so i know when my window of opportunity is going to be before just jumping into a sketchy area like this.... lol makes you appreciate a nice low tide when you can walk around boulders plucking them off

That makes sense, but I’m not big on soaking them in sea water, or cooking with seawater these days, too much pollution. For a quick soak like this I just prefer the water and salt mix

We DO have a nice selection to choose from here. I'm still waiting for them to open Razor Clamming again. It's been closed for months now. Oysters ARE delicious! I think where you guys lack in shellfish you make up for in fun fish to catch! i really want to make it down there to fish one of these days!
@@AnglingAddictsPNW Very true. We do have a selection of fish i.e. Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Spanish Mackeral, Whiting, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Tuna, Wahoo. There is also tons of Stingray if you like the meat.
At first I was thinking 🤔 “thats just going to shred my booties on the barnacles” then it dawned on me that you are talking about the clamming part... that sounds like it’s be a better experience. With soft sand like that, you are just asking for trouble wearing boots. I also didn’t consider the sand/sediment build up after the flooding just a week earlier

Yeah, only on the mud flats. You can crawl around without getting soaked and caked in mud too
