Very clear message! Love this video!
Great video! Can you explain specifically some different niches to choose from? This is something I’ve been stuck trying to figure out for a while now. Thanks!
Great video again, very helpful!

I wanna do this
Hi Eric,
I'm a Videographer and I specialize in creating Commercial ads eg NameCheap commercial ads... How can I meet clients to sell my services.
Step one : Build relationships with people: social anxiety kicks in
My hardest part with 4:05 is that I love shooting Real Estate and I love shooting weddings and I like to shoot a healthy amount of each. I also make internal and occasionally external videos for large companies.... Why should I pick one, if I enjoy both and work with great clients every year? I just don't totally understand the 'specializing' in only one niche is the BEST way to do something? Maybe it is but I love to do both? Why should I tell people no, if I have time to shoot their wedding and I enjoy it, Just because I could maybe make more money just focusing on real estate??? I guess I'm just struggling with the concept haha Great video Thank you!
Well to that I'd say you can still specialise, but just in two areas instead of one - you could have separate websites/contact details etc for both, and run both operations separately. Market them separately, etc.
I might not work for you because you already have a clientele who already trust your work or by word of mouth trust you. However, for people starting out, finding a niche works best. You have a stronger message, can save on equipment (different jobs different rigs), easier to define where your target audience is, and word of mouth will spread in the same industry too.
@Daniel Lo Presti but if you "specialize" in two or more genres, are you a specialist anymore? I feel like you are either a specialized creator or you're a diverse creator. I just think the specialist/generalist persona doesn't apply well to the creative industry.
Another great video, so clear and focused! Thanks Eric!
