- Today Evie and Kapri hear some unexpected bad news from the doctor at the same time! They'll both be out of cheer for a while to heal and get better! Most days we also go to Target, Starbucks, and Crumbl, but not today! Today is all about going to the doctor for both girls and looking at their Xray and MRI results!

Sorry to hear the news about Evie and Kapri! I hope that they have a speedy recovery! I love how you guys show love and support to one another when the other is sick or injured. I had a L5-S1 disc herniation at just 15 from softball. I had intense nerve pain and foot drop as a result of nerve damage that thankfully reversed. I did PT then epidural steroid injections and 6 months later surgery. It is definitely not an easy injury to recover from especially as a kid and it can be frustrating it’s not like a break or sprain where there’s a set recovery time. Everyone heals differently from disc herniations, but keep up with that pt it will be your best friend. Keep your spirits high it helps with recovery. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

AWW! So sorry to hear Kapri, Evie, good news is Bulging disks, even Herniated (they are not the same) do heal in younguns, WHEN they follow all the advice and do not cheat. My first disk I didn't listen, kept training, sneaking in things I was told not to, and what should have taken a few months, took over 2 years to heal. Prayers and good wishes for fast healing for both these young ladies. 🙏🙏😊😊

I totally know what she’s going through. I have to wear a plastic brace cause I have a stress fracture in my lower back. Cause I’m a advanced dancer and do dance for like 20+ hours a week. I have to wear my brace for 16 weeks. I have been already wearing it so I have abt 4 weeks left. It does suck cause I was supposed to go to nyc for a advanced dance summer program for joffery pre professional program for 5 weeks. But I couldn’t go cause of my back. Stay strong and don’t worry abt the long journey of recover cause it can mess w ur head. Cause thats what happened to me this summer. And it wasn’t good for my mental health at all. But dint give up cause what doesn’t kill u makes u stronger! :)

I had two bulging discs in my back from playing soccer and being a goalie. Awful pain!! Wishing for quick recovery for kapri :)
Praying for your girls! I dealt with bulging discs growing up. I had a laminectomy and then a fusion. Solved the problem and I have 0 pain except for arthritis flare ups in the winter. Hopefully the therapy is good for her since she is younger! I was 17 and 19 when I had my surgeries. Best thing I ever did for myself!
i had a back injury myself and it is a long recovery. was out of volleyball for a long time and it was the worst feeling. two years later and i still have some back issues after going through everything to recover. icing it for 20 mins on and then off then on for 2 hours helped me and rolling it out. praying for both girls

Poor Kap & Evie my heart broke for them cause I know how much they love Cheer & it hurt my heart their in pain too & gotta be in braces, they suck & are uncomfortable! I feel for Evie though cause I deal with ankle issues & it's no fun & it hurts so much! I find that stay off it as much as you can & elevation & epsome salt bath help too! Being injured sucks but stay positive! I just injured my knee and I’m out of marching band for my senior year. They believe I tore my meniscus and I have an MRI coming up.

I have scoliose which is a back condition and I had to wear a back brace very different to yours though and I wasn't allowed to take it off at all. I hated wearing it and so I hope you have a speedy recovery and sending prayers and wish for a speedy recovery for you

Just curious, have you tried a chiropractor for evies ankle? I had an ankle injury from gymnastics that kept getting worse and went to a chiropractor for a few weeks and they were able to get out a bunch of knots I ended up having. They rubbed it, acupuncture and used ultrasound. It got rid of my pain!

I have not seen your clogs in a long time. I did not even recognize Evie. Her face is super thin and she looks so pale. I pray that she is not sick or have ab eating disorder. I know in previous post a long time ago she would say she was big but I think she was perfect and should be proud of her body.
