I'm waiting to put 4 of them into a soundbar with a separate sub that's currently all being built but, I like your idea of 4 in an array with a sub!! I'll let you know how it all sounds when it's finished!!
Well, these are even smaller so will certainly need a sub with them!! Same with all drivers this size though, you've got to be careful in what you want to build!! If you want bass, you will need a much bigger driver!

I'd say, 4 of these in an array and then a small sub. How did they sound in the lower & higher frequencies? High drop off?

I made a bax with a pair of Aiyama 2.5” and the bass was awful 😢. I tuned it to 78hz but not able to get decent bass.

try using passive radiators with those
Yes i have that 2" aiyma the best in my diy bluetooth speaker good quality,.
Not much bass but with a small sub, gets good results

I do vertical 2 drivers, open baffle on top of sealed 8 in,And beston ribbon in between and it rocks, duo 18s for subs, Lolololol
