Not everyone might not have been on the same wavelength as Ze during this session, but I really want to commend Vik for being able to understand what Ze was thinking and winning that first game! Vik doesn’t always get a chance to cover himself in glory during lobbies, so it was really something to watch him lead the way to victory! I also enjoyed Ze being unable to stop from selecting Widowmaker for such a positive clue, and the debate about the Spurs with nobody realizing there could be two different teams sharing the name, lol. Also, anytime an old classic like Longcat makes an appearance, you know it’s going to be a good time! The smaller lobby wasn’t any less entertaining, and I enjoyed X33n’s attempts to share a mind with Kara, as well as his dismay over disappointing his Spymasters, lol. Kara was a formidable foe as per usual, while Apple and Chey were very fun guessers who offered unique ways of thinking that I appreciated! The conversation was engaging and the games were very funny, making for yet another splendid Codenames video! Thanks for playing this again, Ze! I hope you all never stop having fun with this game!
Honestly, credit where credit is due, Vik was incredibly on point this session. Figuring out Buzz and 'pin the carrot on the snowman', insisting on clicking Scorpion and Caesar and Swing. Hell, during his first spymaster round, I was thinking port or eggplant for honeymoon (don't know which was intended but both are correct so does it matter?) and later, bait and thief for unsavory. Age Of Empires 5 was perhaps a bit too risky with the black card but other than that issue, it was a really good clue. This is quite possibly one of the best sessions Vik has had. He did so good.

I first realized I would go with "Downtown" for my first clue for the road at 48:40 because there is no risks of clicking a neutral or blue card with that clue, even through overthinking it is very low I'd think, and street, sub and bottle I'd imagine would be obvious (with bottle being due to the recency of the Litter guess) but also because there's always bottles strewn about every city. The further chances is fuel for a handful of reasons I'd think its very reasonable, and pants there is a chance simply because of how people are always thinking about their appearance before they go out (something I've never understood as I could give two fucks about haha). I later realize Maple could work too given how many cities & towns in the US line their streets with Maples. What the hell was their reasoning on Iron for Phallic though? I am SO confused by that!

I will have to agree with X33N and his assessment of Bubble Tea (Boba). Its egregiously overrated and it seems like its only ever Hipsters who frequent the shops, stalls and talk about it while loving it. And its mostly college age women, too haha. So Chey getting upset even if somewhat playfully is about as on-brand as you'll get! I've tried a few different Boba teas, from different places, and cannot understand it at all. I'm not about it. If you're gonna ingest anything with Tapioca in it, just stick with Tapioca Pudding :)
