- A small test, nothing more than that... it could become a future project to restore all the cut content from the Japanese version (Uzumaki Ninden).
This was just a demonstration, I replaced some scripts for this mission with the original ones (Ninden).
In the Japanese version, as shown in the video, you face Kisame instead of Kabuto.
After the mission there is a cutscene of Tsunade, Naruto and Sasuke in the hokage's room, obviously also cut like everything related to Tsunade.
Fun and unusual fact, Kisame's AI was completely disabled in the American version, so it was another thing I restored lol
I still have some difficulties so far, such as:
Cutscene faces (apparently just the XYZ function removed from the screen, as they load in memory)
Mission removed: Jiraya Manuscript, this is a mission completely removed in the American version, in the Japanese version it appears in the same part with "Bad Publicity". I managed to activate it through a trigger in memory, but I still need to understand how to add it to the Missions menu again.
Finally, the biggest difficulty... A LOT of texts in Japanese, there are several cutscenes that need to be translated from scratch, however, a UA-camr called Mr.Viho made a series with subtitles here on UA-cam, it will be of great help...

Não sei se a série chronicles tem alguma comunidade dedicada ao jogo. Mas não seria mais fácil traduzir o Ninden para inglês do que restaurar o chronicles?
não sei, o Ninden precisa de VWF, reajustar todos os recortes de textura (embora boa parte já exista no NUC1), editar botões como selecionar no X e voltar no Triangulo, traduzir todos os textos (mesmo alguns já tendo no NUC1)
se eu manjasse ao ponto de criar uma VWF pro Ninden eu faria isso.
seria um sonho poder jogar esse jogo sem ser a versao cortada , dropei de jogar a primeira vez quando soube que cortaram mta coisa do original , tem todo meu apoio pra isso amigo!!

Os dois Jogos merecerem serem remasterizados com o Conteúdo completo da versão Japonesa, eu me divertia jogando esses jogos mesmo sendo aquelas versões americadas capadas kkkkkkkk, muito interessante sua restauração.

The next part is adding the english voices for kisame from chronicles 2 if that is even possible.
My advice for all the new cutscenes you’ll add, just use the Japanese audio.. and add the subtitles from the UA-cam playthrough.. think of it like you’ll just use the English version for the most part then add the Japan version game in where it’s missing and change the Japanese text too English so we can at least read it that’s all we need.. plus I’m sure you won’t be able to recreate the new lines in their English voices unless you use some type of AI to recreat and speak the Japan version lines then you add it in, but that sounds like more of a hassle than just using the Japan version audio and giving us subtitles so we know what’s said
1- don't worry about the dub, i'm not touching it.
2- that's exatcly what i'm doing lol, im translating Ninden itself now, no more NUC1
3- i'm in the final mission, some stuff still not translated but is already something
4- my actual goal is to set a ASM hack, the characters are spaced af.
