Hi , my home and dream garden Thank you so much for watching my videos!!☺️☺️ I agree I’m very lucky to have a camera person.😊 My daughter is my camera person she’s amazing and has never filmed anything before this channel! She doing an awesome job!💚 Do you have a UA-cam channel? 💚L🐝
Your garden looks so lush and gorgeous! I really love the huge masses of flowers which seem to cocoon one within the space. And you are such a natural in front of the camera on these lovely garden strolls! 👏😊
Hello Paulette. Thank you so much for all the compliments!!☺️☺️ It brings me so much joy to share my garden with others!!💚💚 Thank you for taking a moment out of your busy day to watch my videos!!🥰 💚L🐝
Thank you for the tip about small vs. big. Smaller roses/plants are easier to train, easier to plant for sure. And way easier to transport in cars, although tempting to buy more. Just need time to watch the never finished garden grow. Thank you for being in the same 10 garden zone, I ❤️your style and bought some small cypress from Home Depot after your topiary inspo in those cute pots 🌳🪴 You mentioned “top pot” for the topiaries, but I couldn’t find that. Is it a special combo that you can suggest…thanks Laura😊
Hi Mimi Couldn’t agree with you more about the size of the plants☺️ It’s wonderful to hear others in my same zone! You’re gonna have a wonderful time training the topiary’s. Remember if you cut to much don’t worry it’ll grow back!🥰🥰 Happy planting!💚☺️ 💚L🐝
I get so happy when ur videos pop up! Thanks for the lesson on the arbor. I haven’t bought one yet but i have the small climbers. I wish I could grow agapanthus its never done well here for me when the humidity hits they get so ugly. But, they look good for you so i can enjoy them through you :)happy gardening Also the patio is a GREAT idea the sunset view and a beautiful setting wow i know u will make is gorgeous !! I cant wait to see it all unfold keep us updated
Good morning. Enjoyed your show. This weekend I am getting the agapanthus. I always see them in gardens and just adore them but never bought them. I don’t know why. You have convinced me. Good point on the climbing rose. I’ve had same issue on one and eventually lost it. I kept forcing the stems to adhere to the trellis . Sorry about your injury to your fingers. I could tell you were just itching to dig in the dirt! Have a good weekend !
Hi Connie, thank you for watching my videos!!☺️☺️ Yay!!! The agapanthus are gorgeous! They remind me of fireworks in the garden☺️☺️ They’re the easiest foundation plant with so much interests. I’ve seen the bees and humming birds loving them too! Lol yes, I soooo wanted to get gardening maybe this weekend! You too have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your garden💚🌸 L🐝
When you mentioned is not good for rose's stems to be crossed, why is that? Also, it would be nice to see a topiary tutorial. Learning so much, thank you!😊
Hi A2j It’s not good to have them cross because it could damage the health of other canes You want strong canes growing the same direction=better/bigger blooms
Loving the garden and all your plans. I also have no luck with Alliums here in zone 9 in the Bay Area. The agapanthus I am looking for is called Indigo Frost... very similar to yours in the white and blue. Can't wait to see the progress. Hope your fingers feel better soon. Not being able to plant must be killing you!
Hi Liane, I just looked up indigo frost agapanthus. They’re beautiful!! Good luck hunting them down!☺️☺️🤞 Mt fingers are better! You where definitely reading my mind I was itching to plant!!lol😄 💚L🐝
Your gardens are beautiful and I love agapanthus as much as you I just brought two of the same blue and white variety. I have the same issues with Alliums here in Georgia, think they need more cold period than we have. They bloom here once for me and I think it was because we had a cooler than usual winter.
I think that it's just too hot and dry for the Alliums here in California. I've tried to grow them as well without any success. Love the agapanthus. Lots of people here don't like them because they're all over, which is a shame. Planted like you will do creates a really beautiful look, especially with white. Lovely garden. Born and raised in So Cal, but living in Nor Cal now. Miss it down there.
Hi Greenleaf This season was really wet for us. I thought I had a one up from last year. Lol but no success once again😂 Yes, there everywhere as a landscaping plant for commercial areas due to the low maintenance. Boxwoods are used a lot too. Both are so beautiful when you use them in your garden. I’m calling them my “socal Alliums”😂
Hi Laura. I garden in San Diego and I feel your allium pain. Last year I grew Silver Springs allium, it's a beautiful white but did not come up this year. The only allium that comes back reliably is... drumstick alliums. They are probably the tiniest of alliums that they are laughable.
I have 6 Agapanthus, only one is in the ground. They don’t like to flower for me, even I really did everything after the book. This year only the one in the ground has ONE flower. I love them too!
Hi Josie The post are for the cafe lights above the bistro area. I added the crystals during Mother’s Day to add some pizzazz to the eating area.and I’ve decided to leave them up because they catch the sun and look so beautiful.💛
I live in Florida zone 10 ,I love alliums too bug can’t grow them here ,do I grow agaphanthus Too!! I also love hydrangeas bug I haven’t been successful either ,how do you grow them on zone 10,any special ones?
Hi Dina Alliums are beautiful thank goodness we have agapanthus for our zone!☺️ What’s worked for me is to make sure they have afternoon shade and sometimes I need to water them twice a day if it a hot day ☀️ Last year was my first year I planted limelight hydrangea they did really well on the west side of my garden so I did put in six more along the side of my house also facing the west side. I’ll let you know how they do.😊 💚L🐝
Beautiful garden! I know what you mean by dead heading, with my carnations and salvia etc. After there first big flush of blooms, then I just shear them back usually to the top of the foliage. They give me another flush of blooms. So much easier then picking out the dead . Of course you will cut some of the open flowers and buds but much more easy and fast. When you show us flowers you are talking about could you use a arrow pointing to which one you are r talking about? I like some white flowers in my garden but color brings me joy, as well as varieties. The white are pretty at night because they glow but when they fade they are so ugly and brown and really stand out like a sore thumb! lol what happened to your fingers ? You can always where gloves. Your daughter does a fantastic job filming!
Hi J GG Thank you for advice ☺️ Yes, your absolutely right about cutting them back. I do cut many plants back. However, the dianthus are very short that after a sheer back they look like ground cover. I guess I just need to pick my battle 😆 Thank you for watching my channel 💛🌸 💚L🐝
Love the Trellis with the Eden Climbing Roses🥰
Thank you Marcia!☺️💛🌸

I bet you can grow alliums!☺️
So so cute!! You are a beautiful soul
My dear Savy Thank you!!😘
Am happy for your patio plans. With the beautiful sunset, it should be perfect for evening gatherings. Congratulations on using your land to its best.
Thank you Susan!☺️

I’m in SoCal 9b. I wish my Limelight hydrangeas looked as good as yours. What fertilizer do you use on them?
Hi Monica
I’m excited to have a viewer from Socal!!🤗
You can fertilize them with Espoma rose tone. I usually order mine from Amazon☺️

I’ve seen the drumsticks they’re so cute!😊😊
Lol it’s better than what I’ve got. 😂
Enjoy them!!🌸🥰

Oh no I’m so sorry to hear that!😔 are they in full sun? I’ve read that they need 6-8 hours of sun to produce flowers.
The Eden rose climber is stunning. I am new to climbing roses. I would love to see a video on how you trim your climbers.
Hi,
I agree the Eden’s are an absolute stunner!!🌸💚
Definitely, that will be a winter video.☺️
Can you tell me about the post around the dining aea. They have hanging crystals. Interested in knowing how they work.
Hi Josie
The post are for the cafe lights above the bistro area. I added the crystals during Mother’s Day to add some pizzazz to the eating area.and I’ve decided to leave them up because they catch the sun and look so beautiful.💛

Hi Laura ! What tree is k the brown pot ? It’s beautiful.
Hi Valerie,
Is it the taller terra cotta pot?
If it is. It’s a Wilma gold crest cypres.
@@laurabeegardening no it’s behind that it’s bigger in a square dark brown pot
I live in Florida zone 10 ,I love alliums too bug can’t grow them here ,do I grow agaphanthus

Hi Laura that pink climber is just gorgeous! How do you get your dianthus to grow so compact?? Do you trim those down too?? Mine get tall and lanky.
Hi friend,
I think all the dead heading is whats keeping it compact. Lol I’m so tired of deadheading small flowers 😆
Cual es el nombre de su rosal es bello 😍😍
Hi Norma
The name of the rose is Sally homes☺️🌸
Don’t you find the agapanthus have such dense roots… they really get thick in the area planted…
Yes, they do have a dense root system. I’m just gonna have to divided them more often.☺️
Where is this girl with balloon statue from?
Hi
I purchased her at home goods.☺️
I think I am in the same zone
I'm looking dor that one color agapanthus
Are you looking for the purple ones?
