    This is really awesome, and it’s great that you’re enjoying your time in Japan! I’ve been eating to study abroad in Japan since middle school because my cousin- who I greatly admired- decided to study abroad. Since she was my role model, naturally I thought that I should as well. The years have passed since then and going to Japan, living there, studying there, is all I want to do. I’ve been taking Japanese- it’s my first year in college- and I’m struggling a lot. I’ve been thinking about retaking the class but I’m worried that I won’t know enough when (if?) I do go. Hopefully it’ll all work out and I’ll learn more about the process to get there! Anyway, I can’t wait to see more videos about your adventure!

      I hope you get to visit Japan too! And yeah Japanese is definitely tough. I think the most important part is practicing a little bit every day. I believe in you! You got this!!!

    If you're still in Japan you need to check out the bars in Minato-ku! There's one located in Shiba-Koen near Tokyo Tower called HJ Bar. It's such a cozy atmosphere so I highly recommend it^^

    Great to see you are off to an awesome start. I lived in Tokyo (Jiyugaoka) for 10 yrs and loved it. Taught English at INTERAC and saw the Japanese Sarariman/ Salary Man, up close and personal. Go for it !!!

    I'm very intrigued studying abroad in Japan, I want to do it in a couple years maybe and I am wondering if you can give me some tips financial wise and like what is the best options to do.. like Program wise and just in general, right now I am in High schoool and my school doesn't offer Japanese classes unfortunately I am trying to teach myself as much as I can but I suck teaching myself😅. It's a language I really want to learn and study... But yeah if you do have any tips and things you can tell me that would be fantastic..

      When you get on campus, you can definitely get funding from your college. The program I am doing right now is the Sophia University January session. You can take Japanese classes at their university, which is awesome. What's your email? I can send over some self-study materials!

    DAM bruh the cinematography is hella bomb!! I've been wanting to study abroad in Japan for my whole life and now I'm really thinking about it but I'm so scared of traveling anywhere by myself. I was thinking of doing an internship or program during the summer of 2021 hopefully if corona dies down! Do you have any tips for traveling alone and like any programs and stuff cause I'm hella clueless lol

    Hey , I like your style of story-telling thru these videos... I can see you put some thought into the whole thing and just shoot and upload which can be too much to filter thru to get the meaning and value... This is really gd start to finish,,, I like the narration and music transitions... so I usually click off and get bored by these kind of videos,,, but somehow i get thru all of yours... I am researching for my high school daughter to possibly go to Sophia in 2022 FAll... Any leads for more info is appreciated... I only noticed that the Englsh only programs are limited to 2, 1 about Japanese (culture and language I believe) the other one is environmental science (I think...?) /but a third just ws created about Sustainable Futures this past fall 2020. What are you studying? My daughter speaks very well but cannot read and write at an academic level. Are you checking out JApan as an exchange for a year OR do yu have intention to graduate there?
    HEY, I appreciate your videos! THANK YOU!

    I will soon be sending an application to multiple Japanese university’s. Any tips?

    • @ryannakajima
      @ryannakajima  5 років тому +1

      I think my situation was a little different because I was applying for a one month program in Japan. I only needed to send in my transcript lol. But when I was applying for universities in America, I always thought it was important to show what you're passionate about. Focusing on one thing and really expanding on it. I hope this helps and good luck!!
