Oh great!…. Sadly I never went on the Garden District line when I was there. I did however go on the red car to City Park to visit the sculpture gardens. Thanks for recording this!
I love streetcars. A shame that most US cities have long since shut their streetcar services down. This is one of the many reasons that I looooove San Francisco because they still have their trollies.
Indeed I will. Sorry about how long it's taking. We took hundreds more pictures than I anticipated and it's been an arduous process to sort them, pick the best and edit them a little to straighten them and bring out their color.
You know, in some ways, Miami Beach is kind of like the French Quarter because, like the French Quarter has so much Spanish architecture, Miami Beach has so much Art Deco i guess in terms of having so much of one architectural style
Yep! These streetcars date back to the 1920s, which allowed them airbrake technology. The air compressor sounds like a plunger fitted to a rotating motor, which gives it a rather unique sound!
Love these videos makes me feel like I can go back in time to Brooklyn Trolley days
Awesome video alex well ❤
Thank you Ozzie!

And you're welcome alex ❤

I am obsessed with San Francisco's Cable Streetcar, and their other streetcars.
Great video Alex interesting thanks.
My pleasure!
Cool 😎😎
Hey Alex great video very neat. Do you know when the next tea time live will be, haven’t been on one for ages!
I don't know yet, unfortunately.
Great footage! Will you still be sending out the photo album from the trip?

@@AlextheHistorianSounds like a muffled snare drum.
Is that the house they call the Rising Sun
I thought that was just a song.
That was a nice little outing 😊I would rather take the streetcar than ride in a carriage behind a horse smelling horse poo 🤢
