You should do comparing tanks next, also the term for "air to ground" missiles is ATGMs. Facts about the KA-50: the Ka-50 is intresting as it is one of the few atack helicopters with Tandem seating (side by side seating) it also dosent have a turret but rather a gun mounted on the left side with limited aiming and their even is a single seat version and uses the same gun computer targeting system as the tandem seat alowing the gun to be used with out a gunner. it has the highest hover hight using ground effect and is extremly manuverable.
@UC951wzTOQ9NZJZhgrWT6wsA yes but the abrevation is more asociated with the type weapon and it also used as a shottend version of Anti Tank Guided Missile, but Ive also herd people using AGMs used instead of ATGMs

7:58 I think the torque your experiencing is accually the heli doesnt incoparate blade flaping so at speed it tends to go to one side as the leading edge of the blade on one side are getting more lift.
Surface to ground missiles is not the right term after all it’s the same thing. As you know it’s air to surface missiles it’s an easy mistake to make when having fun alls well that ends well just keeping making something no matter what it is your loyal views will watch no matter how many you have

Day 11 of putting a comment to hopefully answer some questions about the music names. Questions about the music go here. (Basically ask for some of the music names (please put a timestamp or something) and i'll see if i can answer.)
Are there enough rockets and space planes to do a space special? I remember you doing one years ago and it would be interesting to see how the workshop evolved!
the torque you were experiencing was due to asymmetrical lift. As air speed increases the rotor will make less lift on the side that is receding and more lift on the side that is advancing. this is the main speed limiting factor on a single rotor helicopter.
Scrapman lots of ideas 1. Build your own attack helicopter 2. With these automatic stabilizing choppers fight kan and the boys either air to air or air to ground or air to sea. 3. Evolution battle off with the gang 4. Build off and battle tank vs choppers or destroyer class ships vs choppers
helicopters tend to do weird things when they are moving forward. when the blades move forward, they have a lot of air speed, but when they move back, they have much lower air speed.
The MI-24 Hind is a classic Russian heli, the first flight was in 1969 (Nice) it was introduced in 1974 and was used in the Soviet Air Force, It's still being used to this day.
And here I thought my trailmakers helicopter with a collective and autogyro type control was pretty realistic. That coast guard helicopter took things to new levels.
Aw man, such an awesome video but I spent hours making a vtol that's so much more stable than these ones especially for a video like this. Dissapointed not seeing mine in here but awesome creations nonetheless.
Interesting to know: does conservation of momentum is a thing in this game? Usually the copter have to push down at side if he want to go forward. There is something like a 90 degrees "lag" in trust due to conservation of momentum. Does this exist in the game?
I had a UH-Huey that I should've put on the workshop. Why is it that every time I have a creation to show, the next video, Scrapman shows related creations.
That Coast guard helicopter is a uh-60 Sikorsky and is the same helicopter that is a Blackhawk helicopter is just a very useful helicopter that can be used for about anyting unless you need something small because that thing is a entire dump truck + 5
Tbh, I’m liking the new intros. Simple, but good.
Also 4:37 “surface to ground missile”
And 4:57 “surface to ground missile”
Yes. It was bugging me too 💀
Ahh yes surface to ground missiles. The best kind 🤣
Does he mean air-to-surface or maybe air-to-ground?
@@gabribotha2403 i mean there are enough surface to ground missiles
Lol I said the same thing
@@gabribotha2403 You sound like you just learned what missiles are
You fire it and it digs through the center of Earth and comes back with light speed and oofs you.

@@GoshkaPolska nice pfp and name
Wrong, an ATGM is used for anti tank work. The correct term would be AGM, Anti Ground Missile.
You can tilt the wings up by a few degrees to make any plane with thrust above the centre of mass fly pretty well
I think
Yo scrapman just found ur content about a month ago and ive been binge watching ur content, keep up the goodwork bro

Also those rockets on viper looks like sidewinders (or their newer generation) which are air to air IR guided rockets.
@@marekvojta9648 yeah that to and air to ground missiles to
3:40 Yes Scrapman, it is indeed accurate lol. Helicopters use jet engines, like planes do. They're just set up slightly differently
And that's not true, the exhaust barely outputs thrust, almost all thrust is from the main rotor wich is often slightly tilted forward.
true, they use turboshaft gas turbine engines
@@daanoffline5716 I know, but they still use turboshaft jet engines, as @alch gaming clarified
@@skylargreen828 after some searching it appears it is only 2% of what the rotor outputs, negligable as I said.
He uses the Helipad in a lot flying creations videos except the one involving helicopters, lol
Who said that this man is bad, he's committed to is work and he deserves all the support he gets
no one said he's bad, he's a damn legend
i’ve never heard any non-trolls call scrapman directly bad
He is pretty bad at the game and at picking builds at times but he as a person is not bad at all. He deffinately does deserve more subscribers.
Fun fact: if you have the dual layered propeller, you don't normally need the tail rotor
Ye like the ka 52
I was low key hoping he'd use my pokéball chopper and compare it to a real pokéball lol

SCRAPMAN, YOU NEED TO PLAY INSTRUMENTS OF DESTRUCTION THERE ARE LASERS WOOOO, I MADE A HOTH LASER TURRET AND A DEATHRAY I love lasers

seeing the MI-24 made me happy because it's a really cool helicopter and one of my favourites
The mi-24 is iconic and love seeing it in different games
with the coast guard heli, you never activated the tail rotor, the tail rotor is only need on single propeller helis to act against the torque.
We want the legendary trio (ScrapMan, kAN, Kosmo) back 😭😭
Make a challenge like Multiplayer Monday but Trailmakers supportable
Then there you go :)
The legendary was Scrapman, kAN, Moonbo, Camodo.
Scrapman lots of ideas
1. Build your own attack helicopter
2. With these automatic stabilizing choppers fight kan and the boys either air to air or air to ground or air to sea.
3. Evolution battle off with the gang
4. Build off and battle tank vs choppers or destroyer class ships vs choppers
A cool multiplayer Monday idea I think would be a two person tank, plane, or ship battle
I really hope you compare land vehicles next like cars, trucks and trains etc.
Something more Sci-Fi next time? 15:52 You like automatic hovering stuff so maybe automatic hovers V-tols? Or Car-planes?
4:45 nice landing 😂😂
The first v22 you reviewed had mini thrusters to make the pitch work when you were in in helicopter mode
Exdweeb is my pal, and im glad he got featured via the coast guard helicopter!
ah yes another comparison vid these always are good
Scrap man hasn't questioned how the front gun Is shooting fast 15:54
They're Air to Surface, not Surface to surface / ground to ground
Scrapman: flying the coast guard helicopter complaining about no counter torque
also scrapman: hasn't turned on the tail roter
bro why some helicopters gotta be so big, you didn’t need to bring the whole military base

why is there no intro?
Idk
So we just not gonna talk about how he didn't have his iconic intro screen?

I’d like to see more by the guy who build the Hind, I’d really like to see more of that heli in general

The v2 osprey is on the edge of plane and helicopter
surface to ground missiles? do you mean air to surface missiles
Yay my suggestion became reality! Thx scrapman!
Fun fact the ka 50 blackshark is one of the only helicopters with an ejection seat
You should do a race using that swashplate mechanisms

OHMYGOD the gunners ir cam works in ln the viper thats so friking cool holy crap

I think it's because the drag glitch on the propellers.
Nope, it's on a servo wich causes it to barely have torque, it's a bug. I have exploited it a few times before.
For me it's just annoying
0:28 oh lol i literally built that the other day too, mines a little smaller
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!!! I LOVE HELICOPTERS PLEASE MORE!!!!!!!!!!
SCRAPMAN pls do a heli battle where they try to build a heli and battle with it 🤣that is gonna be so funny to watch them try to build one

are you playing with cyclocopters, or cyclorotors, they also change angle on the fly
You should do another version of this video but with boats
Maybe also do a comparing battleships to the real ones episode?

Never heard of survace to ground missles before. I think he meant air to ground missle
Make a video about tanks that would be a great idea

I think you should try to replicate the Bell V-280 Valor.
Scrapman why did you not have a intro? 00:01.
Hi scrap man
Try building Blohm & Voss BV 141
(an asymmetric plane)
The mi24 reminds me of the way the one that looks like it in just cause flys
I have never been in the military, have never seen combat... the MI-24 Hind is one of the only aircraft I fear.
Can you build the Rutan Boomerang?
9:04 i wanna know how to make this :)
You should play stormworks for extra realism
You could try making a swash plate in scrap mechanic
Im wondering if the Mi-24 also has an armored belly.
