CC3 is shooting 3 point attempts at a greater distance than steph ctrey young and Damian Lillard I've been there years of any season were they shot their longest 3s.
You hit the nail on the head Clark's game is so gifted so talented for everything really except defense at this point. But angel doesn't play defense she doesn't get defensive free bound she doesn't block shots she gets put back and gets played 1 on 14 the most part while Caitlin gets double tamed almost all the time. If Clark was guarded 1 on 1 like angel is she would be averaging 25 a game.
That logo 3 made my night. If the fans were flabbergasted in another record crowd in Seattle I guess? I'm just sad for Clark because of the losing because of this ridiculous coach he's to deal with half the team has to be traded. Otherwise don't come back for the second season girl because it will be the same if you have the same roster in the same coach.
This, despite the Loss was just Dazzling to see! Nobody plays like that, like Caitlin does, Electrifying passes behind the back and Bullet passes All the way Across the court End to End, and then her shooting, Rebounding, Steals and Blocks. I’m sorry but there’s nobody like Caitlin Clark.

Her passes are truly next level and totally underappreciated as she broke so many scoring records, but so many don't realize that she led the nation in assists her senior year (8.9 per game), junior year (8.6), sophomore year (8.0) and was third her freshman year (7.1).

From the league and owners on down - no one wants a rookie to show up the entire league, whether it be skill, fan draw, praise from NBA greats, etc. And it's easy to see her team and teammates are on that list and the list of player haters. I believe Fagbenle is the one who is pro Clark and the only one able to play at C's level for 40 minutes.

A lot of her long shots aren't squared up or lined up, but still go in. That's what impresses me. To be able to do that you have to practice it all of the time, from everywhere, to get the muscle memories you need for the shots.
Thats a great observation, and it puzzles me every time I see her shoot. Worst form ever, but best eye hand coordination I've ever seen in any sport. If I didnt see actual videos of all her shots swishing, I'd never believe it.

I agree completely, BUT in shooting, shes in a league of her own. In passing, it shows shes does it well, but there are really are a fair # of guards who pass like that (Wait til u see Paige Bueckers next year.) Paige, as great a shooter as she is, doesnt compare to Clark in that area. But fundamentally, she's the most solid player I've ever seen - offensively. Defensively, shes not great, but shes better than Clark. Court awareness, she pulls a lot of hidden rabbits out of hat.
The point im making about her shooting being so amazing is that almost everything about her form is off-center, off balance, its crazy. The fact that she makes them @ such a high percentage from SO far away, is, like inhuman. There's only two poss explanations; 1) she has the best eye hand coordination on the planet; or 2) The huge amount of time she spends practicing has led to miracle muscle memory. Or both. No one has seen anything remotely like it, and I think that we're never going to see anything like that again.

I mean on defense she fights through the picks, she is blocking shots and her steals are good. I definitely believe once she hits the gym more for strength training she is going to be a force to be reckoned with. I don't mean her getting muscles but simply making her body able to take all the physicality she's going to be even better.

role players. Each player knows their job. The Fever don’t seem to know that CC’s role is to score and pass. Not all players can be that. The coach needs to get those players on the court.

Another game where the Fever were able to shut down CC in the 4th. Think I saw more passes this game to Fever plays they couldn't handle, and they weren't passed by CC. Unfortunately there was a reason Indiana had the #1 pick.
I'm watching in Australia and didn't realise how bad the woman basketball was in America.
The 'Jordan" of the WNBA. She matches the hype. She's good...really good! She makes the rest of the players look average, like Jordan did with the league. She sells out arenas and people who don't even watch WNBA watch just to see her. All of this was exactly like Jordan in his younger part of his career where he took the NBA globally. Caitlin will do the same. Caitlin is now the highest standard in the WNBA.
Clark is the only reason why I got the WNBA League Pass. I only watch Fever games. Just catch highlights of Kate Martin with Aces. Did you see how many passes she made under the basket for layup’s that her teammates missed! Yes, she has her share of turnovers, be she is still magnificent to watch! Entertaining. Just sad to see the joy taken out of her when teammates cannot convert! Must be so frustrating for her!
Fever needs Bill Lambert as a coach
Laimbeer would be an amazing fit for Caitlin. And he definitely would know how to protect her from being excessively fouled.

The fever were outclassed last night against the storm who won less games last season than the fever. That shows more incompetence from the fever they got one player and did nothing else to set CC up for success. They did not go out and get players who play the style. She plays outside of Temi.
Clark is a great 3 ball shooter but she is better at dishing the ball. Great guard play.

She´s the reason I´m watching WNBA highlights, first time ever. And I´ve always been an NBA fan.
As an Iowa grad myself, I've been following her since her freshman year with the Hawkeyes, but I love how the whole nation is enjoying her gifts now. It was incredible to see how rapidly attendance increased during her time there, culminating with every game being sold out during her senior year.
CC was handed the worst dumbest roster in the WNBA and the most clueless coach who mismanaged the game who doesnt know how to set screens for Clark to get her open and gives more shot attempt touches to her incompetent players who gave her the worst record in the east last season.

How the heck does three other players take more shots than Caitlin? It's like Caitlin is playing 5 levels ahead of her teammates including her coach. Caitlin must be freed from all this incompetence. 60% of the players in the league are terrible, if it wasn't for Caitlin they couldn't pay me to even watch this crap. Man I wish Caitlin could play with players that is half way on her level. Sure wish Kate Martin was on her team at least she knows where to get Caitlin the ball.
For one, the other team is focusing heavily on giving her no breathing room to shoot. When others get the ball the defense is like "meh". They won't let here beat them. When her teammates start catching the ball and converting those assists, there'll be nothing the other team can do.
I agree, and sign Gabby Marshall to a contract. Gabby's only 5'9", but she can guard like a wolverine on PED's, and can make three pointers and layups.

I was at that game. I'm a 58-year-old man who loves BASKETBALL and I will tell you I haven't had that much FUN at a game in years! Going to a game where the athletes play hard every minute. Plus I could take the whole family and not take an equity loan to buy tickets. I haven't had this much fun at a game since the Sonic's played the Bulls in the 96 NBA finals!
I hope all CC haters realize she has brought so much more excitement to this game and her team mates or absorbing the energy. Win or lose it is such a joy to watch the Indiana team grow together.
