Its comforting to hear jay open up about his recording process, he is a very interesting personality that needs to recieve more recognition for his solo projects. "Race to the Air" is my favorite and "colder than ice"

"Saturnia" is a masterpiece. incredible album. the new album he's made with Ambrose from King Gizzard is also top notch.

so glad I found this interview!! its great hearing about Jay's gear and the early days of Pond / Tame recording. I've been a huge fan of all those W.A. projects since the first Pond album / Tame EP. late 2008. its been amazing seeing them all grow as musicians and continue to make great music. Jay's most recent album "Saturnia" is absolutely brilliant. he is way too humble here; he knows exactly what he is doing in the studio. his mixing skills are superb. a big influence on my music over the last couple of years. thankyou Jay & thanks AT Magazine for this video!

So funny around 4:50 Jay's like I didn't have a computer in high school and the interviewer says yeah but you had acid

I can relate so much with what he says
    The EQ vocal thing
And the spotify thing . when I drop something,
"Damn I should have added those ad libs"
