I don’t do it. I’m sure most of these will expire before I even have a chance to use them. Which is sad. I don’t know why I never got the Dior forever. I think I just got the backstage and new things kept launching that put the forever on the back burner.
I have the NARS concealer on my list-everyone that has it loves it! I don’t think anyone talks about the Valentino concealers or foundation outside of collection videos. I never see anyone use them in GRWM videos and I honestly forget they exist. I think after my no buy I will try the foundation. I didn’t even realize J Cat had a concealer! I prefer full coverage so I should go check it out. I know I wrote earlier that I will check out the NARS and J. Cat concealer (and I most likely will) but I now use my foundation as concealer. I have a few shades of foundation that are too light and I repurposed them as concealers. In fact, after I finish the concealers in my collection, I will just use my foundations. That said, I do like the Urban Decay Quickie concealer and will probably buy that one again once it’s finished. I am really trying to get my foundation and concealer to a small amount. I have tried a many and want to just use five foundations ( including skin tint) and maybe two concealers. My favorite foundations are the (controversial-I see no glitters, lol) Makeup by Mario, William Tuttle foundation ( he used to do the makeup in Hollywood in the 1950s) and Pat McGrath. I want to try Prada’s foundation since it is raved about. Then I will have room for one more foundation or maybe I will keep it at four. My eye shadow and blush collection are obscenely large so I really, really want to have small areas in my makeup.
Dang I haven’t tried the makeup by Mario or even heard of William Tuttle I’ll need to look him up. Thinking about it, you’re right I don’t see a lot of people talking about the Valentino. I was considering putting it in my project pan next. I do like the Valentino more than Prada - Prada is a lot more matte which I think you prefer?
I am loving buying concealers lately above foundations and I'm not quite sure why. The #1 spot for me currently is the Tower 28 Serum concealer. It has the perfect middle ground coverage, IMO. I have normal to very rarely combo skin with maturing fine lines under my eyes and it's awesome. I don't set it either. I can, but don't need to. I haven't used it in super warm to hot weather yet, so I don't know how it performs in the heat. I also love mixing the Tarte Shape Tape Creamy and Radiant versions. I just bought the Prisme Libre during the Sephora sale and I agree it is beautiful as a light to what I think, lgt-med coverage. The Tip concealer from the Korean brand The Saem is really good, too and I find it similar to the Catrice one. So many good concealers
I had an amazing time thank you! I’ve heard a lot of good things about the tower 28 one - I never really had the best luck with that brand though so I’ve been hesitant. But it’s been out for awhile and people are still talking about it so that tells me something.
