Bought my Flying Spur from a well known London specialist, with a 2 year warranty. After a year it went in for service & MOT. They found wet carpets due to blocked rain drainage holes so had to strip out the front seats & carpet and dry it all out. Also replaced leaking cam cover gaskets. Other work to fix non working heated seats was done under the warranty. They are good, expert people who know what they're doing, so better than taking it to your local 'we service all makes' outfit. But, total bill was £2500. You will NOT get away with £1000 a year, ever. It'll always need tyres, brakes or some other fault fixed. Don't think that these are somehow more reliable than mainstream cars - they have more to go wrong !

@@zakmirza this conversation seems to have a much higher relevance when talking about bentleys in the sub 20-30k range. If you can afford a new or under warrenty 1 you prolly dont need to spend time thinking about the small change it costs to keep on the road.
@johndoe-yi3dx i wouldn’t recommend spending 20 to 30k when buying a Bentley. You will get one which has had like 5 owners and questionable history. Bentley replace the littlest of items - this is my 2nd one so not much surprises me 😬

2013 CGT 6.0 W12 Road tax costs £4360 per annum, insurance £2200 per year after discount for good driving record, Super unleaded fuel about £2/ liter monthly usage about £300. Yearly inspection £30. Converted to GBP.

@@zakmirza you bet! Fun fact, a new Volkswagen Polo 1.0 TSI cost £92500 to own, excluding tax. The best part for the price is.... You can own it for ONLY 10 years!!!

Insurance for my GT is £263, £300 excess SAGA insurance, 5000 miles, even though I only do around 3000.
Bi-annual service with a local Bentley specialist £600.

You could use VAG specialist for servicing. Engine is a VW unit. It may be cheaper than a Bentley specialist.

I am getting a bentley for 35000 cad , i live in canada , Should i get it as i can not spend more than 10k cad per year on a car , it has 68000 miles on it 2006 model 😅😅 please suggest.
10k CAD for annual running costs (gas, taxes, insurance and maintenance) seems enough. But make a list of all these costs (call ur Bentley specialist about the cost of servicing to get that figure). Important u have an idea of how much each costs to make sure u can afford. Not sure how much more expensive these might be in Canada. This car you are looking at, make sure u check it over or get a mechanic to have a look so u have an idea of the breaks, tyres and other components like the suspension once they jack the car up. Take your time when looking for a car - there will always be something. Took me 3 months to find mine.

Insurance is pretty cheap in UK
It has been - but prices have increased approx 20% last year - for no reason!

Really? Strange since the US has a good domestic manufacturing of tyres - but Pirelli do have a factory in Mexico so prices shouldn’t be too expensive
