I was at this game, screaming to support our defense every single down bama had the ball. I am completely hoarse this morning and couldn't be happier. Our defense and Blake won us this game, with a big assist from coaching and JJ staying in it and not letting an early mistake define his confidence level.

michigan has great kids who are great leaders. at the end of the day, i think that was the biggest intangible that led us from being shut out in the second, to the 4th and two, to roman's catch, to blake willing his way into the end zone in OT...all i know is i'll always remember this day. and we got ONE MORE

I think UM secondary can handle Penix. I think UM D-line and UW O-line are equal. I believe the championship will come down to how UW handles the UM run game. Just my opinion.

All the 'pundits', analysts, 'experts' said the Bama defense was better, their D-line (especially the edge rushers were going to destroy the M O-line. Their DBs were the best in the country. And which defense was better? 6 sacks and 10 TFLs (Bama - 1 sack, on Orji no less, and 1 TFL!!!). Several pressures. LBs with tackles all over the place (over 20 by my count). M DBs in man coverage gave up one semi-long pass play. Jesse called a masterful D and the boys played it perfectly. Saban and Co were out-coached.
If we had not been sabotaged by special teams-eleven points surrendered-it may have been routine! The offense could not maintain possession the second half, giving the Alabama offense opportunity after opportunity! 🤔

JJ did not really play well! There were a lot of drops and errant passes! Flea-flicker mistake, long-snap mistake, two dropped punts and one of them lost! These mistakes cost us (11) eleven points! Hope we can overcome these mistakes for the game versus Washington! Hope JJ plays better! Hope the defense can keep their intensity! Hope we do not over-practice and over-analyze and sabotage our success! 〽️
