Just be yourself. No matter how you look outside. I don’t use make up or paint my nails. I am natural. Adolescent goes through a period where they try to fit in so do not worry too much how they dress unless they show too much skin.
By the way, I had the same experience where I used to try to look ugly because some guys just look at me due to my curvy body when I was younger. So I decided to dress with loose clothes and messy hair. I was tired to be the fish surrounding by sharks. I am not trying to be egocentric.
