What ancient Chinese religion are you referring to. Tibetan mythology are mix of Buddhism and native religion of Tibet called BON. Tibetan do not practice Taism or Confucianism.
Thank you for the suggestion. We will add it to our list. As we have a list of videos that we are working on, it might take a while but we will get around to it.
Thanka not Tanga, it is wall hanging of holy painting for devotional purposes , amulets are smaller sacred blessed objects often carried in gau for protection especially when one travel…
Tibetan Bhudism is mahayana bhudism of India assimilation with native Bon religion and tradion. Hinduism has nothing to do with Bhudhism or Tibetan bhudhism. But ironically many Mahayana tantra and teaching has been used by Hinduism ( Brahmanism)
You may be spot on... We do not dive deep into the religious aspects of any region. We tend to focus purely on the mythological aspects of a culture or region.
Palden lamo also has nothing to do with hinduism. This are some fabricated myths by some hindus. She is a pure buddhist goddess protector. Especially in Mahayan buddhism
@@jigmetskalzang462 Like we replied earlier. We focus purely on the mythology angle and that is highly geographically influenced. We do not tray and draw out parallels when it comes to worship and beliefs.
Excellent graphic, content and editing. Like and subscribe. Only feedback is can you pls add English subtitles caption. Although your content is excellent, it’s difficult to hear, and it’s perhaps due to your accent, sound quality and also need to slow down a tad bit. So if you can improve on the sound quality and delivery, it will be so much better! 🙏
I'm not trying to disrespect any religious beliefs but I just want to understand better from anyone who is more knowledgeable on this than I am... but I don't understand how wrath and compassion can go hand-in-hand...how are the devotees supposed to transform elements of violence into peace and no harm to any living being when the said goddess/being that they worship uses violence as an end to justify the means? The story goes to say that because the son and the husband are both evil doers, violence was justified. And lastly why would a yaksha (demon) goddess be interested in leading humanity to peace and compassion and protecting dharma? I know that in Buddha's time, yakshas respected the Buddha and some even served him...so is this similar then? Again, I'm sorry if this offends anyone but I'm just curious.
@@Mythlok yes, buddhist protector palden Lhamo has nothing to do with hinduism. This is totally fabricated story or myth. We buddhist never considered such types of things. @@jigmetskalzang462 We never claimed that Palden Lhamo is Hindu. We just mentioned that there are influences of other religions in the same area that have enriched all. You are correct. We are just trying to say that influence from ancient Taoism is there due to geographical proximity.
It was a mix of Mahayana Buddhism and Tantric Buddhism and it became Vajrayana Buddhism 🙏🙏🙏
Taoism/ Daoism has some similarity with black Bon or other nature respecting belief.system. Yes Tibetans do not follow Confucian…
