Until you started doing these video's I never gave much thought to having a battery backup system, but now I wonder why I never thought about how important it is to have one. Bluetti seems to be the best brand, thanks for waking me up.
Right as I clicked on this video, after just coming home from a week of camping and just sitting down, something happened and my power went out. Luckily, my husband and I bought our Bluetti batteries/solar panels a couple months ago, so we were covered for the time we went camping, (since we kept our batteries topped off with the solar panels), and right now figuring out what happened with our electricity.
Being on oxygen steady this would go just great as a backup for when the lights go out which happens alot around here , when that happens I get quite anxious and make it worse till I get my full bottle of air going. Looking in to it now ty for these demonstrations .
I appreciate your in depth reviews of the Bluetti products. We have a place up in the forest and are looking for back-up power solutions. Your testing is a big help. Thank you!
This battery has 448WH of storage capacity. The 700W is the inverter (how much it can run on a consistent basis). I have two small batteries like this and use them during power outages to run lights, a fan and recharge my cellphone/computer. I have a bigger one to run my fridge. They have saved my bacon several times. I'm glad that you are getting into isolar because I see a future with more power outages ahead!
Good video. I like seeing real life use.
Thanks Joe ! Always enjoy your videos!
I have a bluetti, love it. Use it when I'm up in the bush for charging batteries. Use a greenworks chainsaw for firewood.
Bluetti seems like the best manufacturer on the market for its class. Most review videos show everything plugged in and running it all. My question in longevity as in running the important items such as refrigerator, air conditioner and the things the have a big draw. I’d want a couple extra batteries to take up the load. Great review Joe. Thanks for sharing with us.
Joe i apprecate you takiing the time to make a product review videos.
Thanks Joe, great review of the AC50B. I run the AC300 with and extra battery giving me ove 7000 wh. I do not AC power unless I run my generator, but for 3 out of the 4 seasons I use the Bluetti and about 1200 watts of used solar panels. These batteries work great for smaller load like computer, cpap, fans, sound bar, phone etc., as you showed it will run down and you will need solar or a genny to charge back up when offgrid. One important note, they do not like dirty power, like what comes out of about 95% of the generaters out there. You will need a good inverter genny to charge them back up if you have no sun and solar panel, vehicle or AC. Also note a 200 watt panel will power your smaller batteries but when you get into the larger ones like the AC300 or their AC500 you will need some serious solar panel power, but bet is find used ones if u can or buy larger solar panels and several of them, just from experiences in Texas. One other thing to mention especially for newer ppl messing with solar, they are not as efficient when they get hot, they do great when it is cool or cold outside.
I have the 300 in our basement with the expansion battery. Several times this year the power has gone out and the AC300 clicks in and runs my sump pumps. Without power to the sumps with this spring being so wet, the basement would have flooded about 18 inches deep.
👍👍👍 Joe!
you did great on this test.🤩✌👍👍
Thanks for sharing with us Joe, looks like another good BLUETTI product you did a review on. Stay safe and keep up the great work. Fred.
Very cool.. I really don't care what other people say about you advertising for whatever. If they don't want to watch, they can wait for the next video of something around the Farmhouse or Tent or whatever else they want to see.. I think it's interesting and I like the way you test it on what it will power.. Stay safe and have a great day.👍🤓👍🤓.Randy.
Loved the video 😘👍🏻💕💕
Joe, that is an awesome product!! That would be great for any deer camp, camping, emergency power outage event. Thanks for sharing the information about the BLUETTI!! Juddie
I'm thinking about one of those for my teardrop trailer
Very thorough Joe, I knew you would be! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯
Great review of those products, Joe. I'm here to support you. I personally don't buy into the battery fad but I can tell you're having fun while trying out the products.
I was nervous when I started reviewing them but now I absolutely love doing it. It is fun seeing what they will do and how far you can push them.
Man watching your video for years
👍great video
Amazing piece of equipment, I´d only be worried about it being stolen since it´s so portable. Otherwise very cool!
I have 6 40 watt led high efficiency lights at my camp. With all of them on they only pull 40 watts from my small jackery power station. I think a bigger bluetti with 400 watts of solar, I could run the camp pretty efficient (tv,fridge, etc). Good video Joe.
Your favorite Joe!!! An unboxing!
I really love testing the batteries and using the solar panels. This one amazed me on what a light little thing can power.
@@NorthernSeclusion that is awesome Brother!!!
Why watch the video if you know you won’t like it. It’s very plain in the title what it’s about. I appreciate Joe being so open about what it’s about. I’m not interested so I skip it and will continue watching other videos. I appreciate all the time Joe puts into sharing his life and experiences with us. And why am I replying? On these videos I just read the comments to see how many people complain instead of just clicking off on this one video. Keep up the good work Joe and thanks.
You are the 12th channel I sub to that has done a "Bluetti" product review...
Prime day is coming, you can save a lot of money buying them right now. That is why they are being showcased.
Can the unit charge its self if you plugged it in to an outlet while using it?
Yes.
What size would you recommend for a sump pump? Short term. Couple hours.
It depends on the horsepower of your sump pump. It's not just how long you run it, it's the starting wattage requirement.
@@jodymccain3258 1/2 hp
A 1/2 hp sump pump will pull between 800 and 1050 watts. The AC50B has 700 watts and 1000 watt surge. Will it run the sump pump? Yes. Is this battery ideal for that task? No. Bluetti has many sizes from small to big and while this one will certainly run it short term in an emergency, getting a unit like the AC200L would be a better fit for using it as a full time back up for your sump pump.
@@NorthernSeclusion thank you. Great info.
kind of shows you what you need to switch over to led less power drain and just as much light
I really enjoy your videos, don’t sell out and keep doing these review videos.
I have bills to pay. This was a dedicated video with the title CLEARLY stating exactly what the video would be about. You knew prior to clicking on it that it was a review video. I can not take any complaints seriously when you already knew. Over 90% of my videos have nothing to do with any products. It amazes me how much complaining people do for less than 10% of the content.
Hey Joe, is your lighting in the tent LED If not, if you switched all the bulbs to LED and just use that bluetti AC 50 B, it will probably last for days just using it for the lighting
Cool. But the tent is on grid power?
So this is great for an emergency situation. Not a long term thing.
hello everyone and welcome back ha ha ha..................!
Will it run the Farmall though
The old Farmall needs nothing to run her, she is always ready to go. Lol.
Must be nice getting stuff for free.
His time is not free..
Start your own UA-cam page, then you can get free stuff.
It really is. I have been building this channel for 11 years and 4 months. If you take all the time I have put in to grow this channel to a place where a company would even consider being interested in me reviewing their product, the word "free" seems to have costed me a lot. I really do enjoy learning about and using the Bluetti products. Anyone who clicks on this video, knows what it is going to be. The title couldn't be any more clear.
I suspect, given the power usage of your lights, that not all of them are LED. LED lights usually use less power than incandescent, fluorescent or halogen lights.
I do have a few that need to be switched to LED.
This is so sad. Your channel used to be so relaxing to watch, now it’s just product reviews.
Hahaha. Well over 90% of my videos are not review videos. I usually post 1 or 2 videos a week on the farmhouse or things I am doing. That number has not changed AT ALL. I put a few review videos in when they contact me that are IN ADDITION to my regular content which has not changed. What was it about the title of this video that did not scream at you..... THIS IS A REVIEW....? I just sit here shaking my head. People will complain about anything they possibly can for no apparent reason.
@@NorthernSeclusionyou’re so sensitive to any criticism like a little child.
I appreciate the time you take. To make product review videos.
🖐😎👍
will it run power tools like a tablesaw
It's for emergencies.
I doubt it. Power tools are usually a lot more wattage than this can handle.
I ran my DeWalt circular saw off of it. It was a little slower at the startup but it ran it just fine. It is not designed for that type of use but I like to really press the limits.
@@NorthernSeclusion thanks joe im looking for one that run my circular saw and table saw thanks really enjoy your videos
@@kennyh8976 look at the ac300 or ac500 they would do that. The 300 is a 3000 watt inverter and the 5 is a 5000. Probably want to get the extra battery depending on how long u r going to use it.
I wish I could afford one I'm on disability can afford it
Leave it in all night.
Infomercial
His channels have really dropped in quality. He stopped caring about UA-cam and is now trying to sell us crap
@@Pcpatrolerfeel free not to click on the video as he clearly states it is a review video. He puts out plenty of regular content. Stop whining and start your own channel if you think you can do better.
@@Pcpatroler I understand that youtube has made it difficult for a creator to earn a buck. *My comment was not one to tear down Joe or his channel.* It was just a comment to identify what the content of this particular video was. As someone else has already pointed out *"Why watch the video if you know you won’t like it. It’s very plain in the title what it’s about."^
Nope Nope Nope. Not gonna do it. Been watching your videos for years but I'm not gonna sit through a 24 minute QVC Infomercial. Do you know who's m8n8 g the cobalt in that thing in the Congo? I'm not bothered too much by short sponsor acknowledgement during a video, but half an hour?
Ha. I try my hardest to make them short but like I say in many of my videos.... "This guy talks too much." Lol. They are supposed to be around 8 minutes. Give me time, I will get there. Lol.
he puts out product videos on Wednesdays, he made everyone aware of that a long time ago, people on social media comment sections like to bitch and complain too much. dont watch the wednesday videos, really simple.
