@psevdhome I think somehow my last post did not get online. More and more one must realise that homosexuality is not just about "sex" or sexual orientation. It is something that is an integral part of their personhood and being, and pertains to all of their life and being, not simply "sex." Also, it is cruel and absurd to suggest that one can "change" if one wants to.
@psevdhome In a democratic state, one has little choice but to tolerate. In Canada, many homosexual people live in stable, legal marriages, and this includes members of Parliament, the Federl Cabinet, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officers and members of the armed forces. However, whether you condone it or not is up to you. There will never, ever be a same-sex marriage in the Orthodox Church -- not now, not ever.
@misszweetti By God's mercy and the intercessions of St Nicholas, I recovered from my fall sufficiently to function. In the beginning it was thought that I would be quadrapelegic, but as you can see, God thought otherwise. I would like to suggest that you study the matter of baptism, and what the actual meaning and accomplishment of it means, and then become baptised. Yes, it does make a difference.
@jonmsawyer One always hopes to evoke active discussion on such broadcasts. Thank you for your input. I realise that some have difficulty with the reality of evolution. The science of it is profound and well proved. What I want to demonstrate is that it is no hindrance to faith.
@gCuezy hetrerosexual men who were practising "arsenokoitis" or anal sex with boys (and girls sometimes). This happened not only in ancient Greece, but in Byzantium as well. It happens everywhere where women are debased and "cloistered" as they are in Islamic nations. It happens in Afghanistan daily, and is socially accepted.
@Theosis3131 15000 years ago, humans were hunting in the Americas, 11000 years ago, the last ice age ended and human settlement spread into Northern Europe. If we took the chronology of the O.T. literally, Adam would have died while King Narmar of Egypt was fighting the Libyans, the flood would have occurred during the pyramid building epoch in Egypt. Literalism in such matters will not work.
I know I'm 10 years too late, but I think we need to remember the mystery of the church and of the whole world. However God made existence, nevertheless he made it either by evolution or creationism, this should not influence your faith that is why there is no orthodox dogma on the topic.
Through sin death entered the world, i.e. Adam's and Eve's fall. Under the evolutionary standpoint, life has existed for billions of years, and so has death. This is completely contrary to the Orthodox view.
@gCuezy The Dancing Boys of Afghanistanm4v Go to this. Watch all the episodes and see what very religious heterosexual men do to 11 year old boys in very religious countries where homosexuality is punishable by death.
@gCuezy I think that we have to accept this reality and worry more about our own sins than about how others work out their lives. I cannot accept hatred and persecution as a Christian manifestation.
Many things expressed here, seem to be, more personal opinions, because ther are not sanctify by the decision of a ecumenical council, so it is not docm. However it is good as an orthodox to not be fundamentalist, in this issue, especially since the church has no docm in this regard.
@violentlygraceful Just a note to remind folks that the Orthodox Church does not have "dogma" in the Western sense of the word. The holy fathers never used "dogma" in such a way.
@gCuezy By the way, have you noticed what "celibacy" in the Roman Catholic Church actually resulted in and produced? Is that really the sort of situation we should be striving to create on a much larger scale? The word "homosexuality" did not exist before the 1800s. The condemnations in Scripture were actually aimed at (cont)
@psevdhome I think that the realisation that homosexuality is not a choice and that it is cruel and absurd to tell people that they can stop being homosexual if they just want to. Homosexuality is not simply about "sex," but rather it is part of the very personhood of the individual and pertains to every aspect of their life and being. We need to get the "sex" off our minds when we speak about it.
@themanofearth I simply want the hate and persecution to stop. Too many young people have been driven to suicide by the hatred and persecution preached by far too many "Christians."
@gCuezy And what will happen when NATO walks away from Afghanistan and leaves behind a new "Killing Field" as all the women who dared to seek and education, and all the people who worked for any of the NATO forces, or who dared to hope for democracy are left behind and slaugthered.
@Theosis3131 Theology does not even touch upon the subject of the age of the earth. That is not what our theology is about. Theology tells us that God is the Creator of all things. If our theology dogmatised that the earth was aournd 7000 years old, then our theology would be grossly wrong.
Your patristics are correct about literal Genesis. Anti-theist propaganda is not a fact and hundreds have proven it is not. This quack says quantum mechanics is proven. Modern science textbooks won’t even say this. They use falsifiability.
@VyckRo Where there is hard and solid science to prove something, we must look at it in the clear light of such science. Many things that the Ecumenical Councils did not rule on exist in the universe and are true. No where did an Ecumenical Council rule on non-baryonic dark matter or dark energy, the shape and structure of gallaxies, space travel, men walking on the moon, etc. Any yet all are realities. The fact that something exists in nature does not mean we condone it, but it still exists.
@psevdhome Speak with your priest-confessor and take his council about it. We do not recognise marriages which take place outside the Orthodox Church, and if someone converts, we sanctify the marriage before giving them Communion. Orthodox Christians who life together without having their marriages crowned do not receive Communion until they have corrected the matter.
Vladyka, bless. I would like to state some comments... I am not an expert on "Evolution" as such, but a blanket statement for evolution as simple fact leads into rabbit holes even I don't like to get into. The problem is, and correct me if I'm wrong, we still do not yet any tangible "proof" for any one species mutating into another species. There seems to be no debate, however, on "micro-evolution". But I think it is best if we don't get into such details yet until we have definite answers.
@Theosis3131 Theology is what this is all about. Theology tells us that God created the heavens and the earth. There can be no source of life and being exept God alone, and for us humans, there is no source of life and resurrection but Christ Jesus. The processes and the methods for the development of things that exist are matters of science. Theology tells us the Cause and science the process.
@allsaintsmonastery I share your concerns... This is a tough issue I've tried to work out myself as my cousin is gay and I know she has at least contemplated suicide in her younger years. I feel like we are blessed that she has a loving partner. Thanks for your responces... Христос воскресе!
@Theosis3131 What you are suggesting is that we can only generate awe and wonder at God's Creation and love for mankind by lying and distorting the truth. The problem is that in general the younger generation have been taught and do know the truth and we ARE able to witness to the glory of God and His love and Creation within the framework of scientific truth. What you would tell them is thast they must choose between God and Truth, and that is a lie. Evolution is God's own plan not Darwin's.
@Theosis3131 What you do with these realities is up to you. I confess only that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, God the Word, was the active creator and that He made Adam and Eve to be in His own likeness and Image in that they had intellect, freedom of will and a conscience that aimed toward virtue. And that creation unfolded according to the eternal will of God.
@allsaintsmonastery I guess what I'm really asking is do you not find homosexuality immoral (emphasis on the sexuality for this question as I said there can be nothing morally wrong with "homosocial" relationships)?
I am a Catholic and I understand my Church agrees with evolution (though it requires us to still accept that mankind had only Adam and Eve as their parents and not multiple pairs. Not quite sure how to reconcile that yet) And I was not sure if the Orthodox Church's view was the same on the matter. Thank you for clarifying. Though I admit that homosexual actions occur in nature between animals, I still stand by the Church's teaching stating its is a disordered version of authentic sexuality.
@gCuezy Practising, not practicing. With regard to celibacy, do it yourself. After you have done it successfully for 10 years, then tell someone else to do it.
@Theosis3131 By the way, geneticists have discovered that Neandertals and Cro Magnons did interbreed. Only those modern humans who remained in Aftica have little or no Neandertal genes. Neandertals existed outside of Africa independent of modern humans. Perhaps that explains who it was that might have killed Cain and where he got a wife. 7000 years ago, the chalcolithic towns in Egypt were already thriving and writing was invented in one form or another not long after that period.
Vladyka, I actually wanted to ask you to make a similar video so I'll ask a few questions here. I agree with what you've said but what do you say about this issue in regard to Orthopraxis? (offering eucharist to "practicing" homosexuals, etc).. and what would you say God's will would be for someone who is gay (since it's integral to their personhood)? Celibacy? Or just struggling against desires? I know it's not all about the sex but I don't find any issue with "homosocial" relationships.
Ecumenical heresy. No one is negating science, specifically adaptation but to say that fish can evolve into humans is ridiculous and more importantly has not and cannot be proven. If you believe that we evolved out of the muck and not from Adam, then why believe in our Savior Jesus Christ? If there was no fall from an elevated physical and spiritual state, there is no need for our Redeemer. Jesus Christ, son of God, please forgive us for we are sinners.
It is not an ecumenical heresy. Don't be disingenuous. I believe in Jesus because of eyewitness accounts, and overall evidence. This is a PERFECT reason to believe in him.
@theunknownmystic It certainly is God's plan because there is no other source of life than God. We have seen several amazing miracles by God's saints, especially Saint Nectarios of Pentapolis, and this in itself is testimony that God shares His love through those who love Him.
@VyckRo One cannot continue to deny the truth simply because it is uncomfortable, and expect people to still come to Christ and find their salvation. We cannot preach the Gospel with falsehoods.
@gCuezy I don't know that one can reconcile it. I don't even know how I would have reacted if one of my sons or grandsons had been Gay. I might have been a total bigot in that case for all I know. What I do know is that a lot of people are preaching hatred and persecution in the name of Christ and from irrational fear and that some people are being driven to suicide because of it, including one good, decent child whom I had baptised. I know that Canadian soliders are being killed in Afghan. to
@allsaintsmonastery That's because the Church could never admit they were wrong about something like this. Although individual's attitudes can change, the dogma, and thus the Church's decisions - which are what really matter - cannot.
@Theosis3131 True, and a good suggestion. Orthodox Theology, like quantum physics, is very much concerned with Energy and Light. While I discussed this at some length in my book The Evidence of Things Not Seen, it would be good to produce a video on the subject. After all, Apostle Paul uses the word Energy 26 times in his Epistles, and Energy is about relationships. God facilitates our relationship with Him through His uncreated Energy, and manifests Himself to us in the Uncreated Light.
@allsaintsmonastery Thank you for your quick responses Vladyka. I understand you to be saying it's not our place to judge or command others and I agree but I'm not quite sure you've answered my question. I'm wondering how the Orthodox life can relate to homosexual individuals and how the Church should act on your view (I noticed you seem a little defensive so know that I'm not trying promote my own views). I guess technically I was celibate for 9 or so years (my wife and I waited formarriage)
@FrogMan1711 Sorry, but I cannot agree. Tahmisian is ideology driven, not science driven. He is good at general physics, but his ideology outweighs his science.
Your video raises a question for me, so I must ask it. In light of the fact that according to scientific research, homosexual orientation is a natural part of a person, are you suggesting we tolerate and condone the homosexual relationships people are in? My views on the matter are as follows: I see that the same call to repentance is directed at all unchaste relationships, where people are engaging in a heterosexual relationship, but are not married. What do you say?
There are many things that are a "natural part of a person" but that doesn't justify these attributes being lived out. Alternatively, while these attributes may be "natural", they may not be ideal. For example, some may explain two men in a homosexual relationship by saying that this is simply them living out who they are. But the natural order for human sexuality is one man and one woman joined together for both physical pleasure and procreation. But even this must be in the context of marriage, to your second point. I think what you're getting at is that if scientific research (using that term broadly) explains/justifies one thing, where do we draw the line? I think that we basically have to take it on a case-by-case basis. On the topic of same-sex relations, the Church, while sympathizing and even empathizing with those who struggle with such a temptation, has never approved of them in any form. By contrast, no synod, patriarchate, or ecclesiastical body has made a doctrinal statement on the theory of evolution (to my knowledge). I've never even seen such a group call for one.
I liked the part on homosexuality because I have heard of that chemical in plastics as well. However that still does not make it a closed case. Homosexuality occurred in many places and times in our history: Ancient Rome, Greece, China, and of course, Sodom. What is a closed case is that it is a passion, and we all have our passions. I have my own to deal with so I don't criticize others. Even so, if I as a Christian, or you as a Monk(priest? sorry I just started watching) to deny that a passion is sinful we lead others into sinful behavior by accepting it. As for evolution, you can call something a fact and show no research or evidence if you like, but in the end that makes it your opinion. I see plenty of proofs in nature of Natural Selection, so perhaps this is what you were referring to. As for species transitioning one into another, doesn't nature itself tell us that when two of the same species mate there is no possibility of offspring? Therefore, we would need two of the same species to mutate spontaneously at the same time in order for there to be viable offspring. And this would have to happen over, and over, and over. This is just a personal idea of mine, I have watched and read plenty of material about evolution to learn that it is simply a mathematical probability. For Orthodox Christians who would like a solid Church opinion on the matter seek out Fr. Seraphim Rose's book: Genesis and the Early Man. He spent much of his life compiling evidence and not once said something was just a fact so believe it. I do like how it does not hurt your faith, but there are a lot of children in school and college being taught this anti-science as fact and it is hurting their faith. Evolution is a replacement theory to God. It removes His necessity, and would prove that even if there was a God, it is a cruel God who set up this system of Survival of the Fittest. Christ, God, did not teach survival of the fittest, He taught "The meek shall inherit the Earth."
+Bruce Eckerd According to our monastics and some of the Fathers, sex even in marriage is a sin. It is not permitted at all unless the married couple are specifically trying to produce a pregnancy. Sex in and of itself is sin.
Take only the view of an Archmandrite (head of a monastery), bishop, archbishop or Patriarch for consultation. Being a monastic does not equal knowledge of the Holy Tradition that the Holy Bible is part of. Sex in marriage cannot be a sin, why because Marriage itself is salvation from adultery and sex before marriage. So does a man commit adultery with his own wife by having sex? Of course married couples are required to have children, however are they going to you have 15-50 children in a marriage. Condoms are not abortion. The woman's body has to recover from child birth. Archmandrites, Bishops, Archbishops and Patriarchs are the experts, not other monks.
Same-sex intercourse is not the same as homosexuality. A person who is homosexual can be a total virgin all their life, but they will still be homosexual. Heterosexuals can, and often do, have some same-sex intercourse, especially with pretty young boys and younger men. This is a commonplace in the Islamic world, but it does not mean that the men who do this are homosexual. Homosexuality is a personhood, and condition of Being, it does not always indicate same-sex intercourse. According to Canadian statistics, 80-85% of the sexual abuse of boys is committed by a heterosexual near relative or close family friend.
The chemical causes of that and transgender are my primary concerns, and the only reason why I bring up the subject. But these chemicals have to do with the oil industry, and that means profits, and that means nothing will ever be done about it.
Indeed, even grey hair is not always a sign of wisdom. Sometimes it is a sign of a long term accumulation of ignorance. Perhaps that is why we need to open ourselves more to critical thinking and to the scientific method rather than to the mere repetition of late stone age and iron age myths and superstitions. We live already in the atomic age, we have powerlful telescopes, knowledge of DNA, the reading of the genome, neuroscience, peer review, biology, etc. We now know that women are not merely incubators for male sperm, but that women ovulate (we did not discover this until the 1600s, by the way), we know that female is the default gender and that everyone begins life as essentially female, until certain enzymes guide the shift in xy chrom foetuses.. We know that, contrary to Augustine, the earth is not a flat plate; we know that it is not stars that fall to the earth during meteor showers, that the planets are not embeded in translucent aether, and pulled through their orbits by spiritual beings (as medieval Christians believed),that the our system is called the "solar system" because the sun, not the earth is the centre of this system, that the earth revolves around the sun, not the other way round, and that the sun does not, in fact, rise and set, but rather that the earth rotates on its axis, and that the moon causes the tides. Arguing any idea on the basis of late stone age and iron age ideologies is not particularly useful or convincing.
Could you post your views on paedophilia relative to how humans define what natural sex is? It is clearly wrong because no child is consensual because he/she hasn't entered her sexual phase. Does this mean that a persons sexual drive can be wrong or have its true course over ridden by environmental events such as abuse at an early age?
It's incredible heartening to me to hear a religious leader speak of evolution as being true, homosexuality as a naturally occurring sexual orientation and science in general in a positive light. I truly hope more religious leaders take you as an example and speak to their congregations about these things in the same educated and factual way. As an atheist activist I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you.
@themanofearth my friend you'd be surprised a growing number of religous ppl to which you have described is a growing trend, hopefully this type of religious prespective becomes predominant force in church circles in the future
Please help me understand the implications of what you are saying, if there is no Adam and Eve, and we come from different species of humans, living and interacting together, how could the fall of one species affect the others bringing death to the world? As we know, there was no other "unfallen" species of humans leading to the flood.
@gCuezy In the Islamic world, and esp. in Afghanistn. for a heterosexual man to rape a boy or young man, is socially acceptable among pious religious folk. However, if two men made love, they would be stoned to death. Sort that one out. Google "dancing boys in Afghanistan" and sort it out.
@Theosis3131 Neandertals did not necessarily predate modern humans. The had a distinctive genome that does not match that of modern humans, but Adam and Eve would have set apart by God in Ethiopia, around the Rift Valley tectonic plate area. Eventually, their descendents would leave Africa and settle the world, AND interbreed with Neandertals. The Nean. geneome is so distinct that its remnants can be defined in all humans, except those who remained in Africa.
Yes, death entered the world before sin, so Christ is a liar? Neanderthal genes are just DNA, plain and simple. Nomenclature is cabalistic in anti-theist ideology. You should debate someone on your claims to know science by repeating "studies, truth, fact, science." You really should. Pick me, pick me.
I am not clear about what difference that would make. Death began when eukaryote cells initiated reproduction as exchange of genetic material {sexual reproduction} about 3.5 billion years ago, as opposed to simple cell division.

@@allsaintsmonastery you’re so very behind the scientific times. Mathematicians have proven abiogenesis statistically improbable. 10 to the 164 exponent. Stephen Hawking admitted this but dismissed it as illusory design. Piltdown was admittedly a hoax, scopes trial was a show trial, Michelson Morley disproved relativity, You’re holding on to a fairy tale. You repeat nihilistic dogma to appear as part of the intelligentsia. If Moses, by the finger of God at Sinai, clarified 24-hour cycles of the day, and the Talmudic Sages record a ~6k year history, and Christ himself, along with the DC books affirm literal creation of literal Adam and Eve, and Moses said death entered the world because of sin, how can the unfalsifiable agenda of the anti-theists mechanistic presuppositional propaganda persuade you to reject the Holy Tradition of the Patristics? Or perhaps you are greater than Fr Seraphim Rose of Blessed Memory? Perhaps the passions convince people to reject Christ’s literal Adam and Eve, to justify condoning sin through universalism. You know that there is no such thing as a reducibly complex living organism. The sand foundation that abiogenesis stood on has collapsed over and over. This is why physicists and other scientific researchers have abandoned antiquated Darwinian models of primordial soup?
@@allsaintsmonastery sounds like you’re a fan of the capitulating modernist William Lane Craig, Hugh Ross, and the other apologists for mechanism’s failures.
There are a few problems. For example, sexual reproduction began about 3 Billion years ago, with only one gender, and there is not possibility that there was an actual Adam and Eve. Genetic proof of that is ubiquitous. We are all descended from more than one species of humans, and there were at least three different species living and interacting only 10000 years ago. Whatever one things about it, homosexuality occurs naturally in all mamalian and some non mammalian species.
Lazar Puhalo , But it always occurs un- naturrally in the children of God. Sin occurs naturally from The Fall, are we not to fight it with every breath of prayer? Adultery ( according to the tenuous thread of evolution) occurs naturally, it is but " survival of the species, the fittest must overcome. A man or woman may have a malady preventing pro-creation. Survival of the fittest in evolution theory now DEMANDS adultery so the man's seed may continue. Naturally, that is rather " problematic" as child of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Son of the Living God the only creator and Saviour. Lying, Stealing, Murder, Idolatry,Adultery,Covetousness,Disrespect of Parents, authorities, etc are ALL un-natural to the man of God. Only through his sacrifice of his begotten Son Jesus Christ Son of the Living God are we freed from our natural fallen state. I do not understand your will to deny the Biblical voice of God . To what avail? Many modern and ancient "things" may affect ...many modern and ancient things. We are not called to witness to our brothers and sisters that plastics can cause feminized males in certian specific species so that's why your homosexual,or could be, or might become, etc. Homosexuality is a choice. Certain persons may have since birth, have an attraction for same sex persons. ( I am inserting a short personal narritive: A family member of mine was in same sex relationships ONLY until the age of 32, through no outward assistance or any acknowledged inward desire just started finding the opposite sex appealing and was married 6 years later, now 21 years of marriage to the same person ). How did she lose her "from birth" homosexuality? How could one tell the difference between ,born that way, maybe born that way, not always but sometimes born kind-of-that-way, really bi- sexual, etc.etc... We are called to preach the faith that sexual desires acted on, or desired without restraint ,outside of the sacrements of marriage are a SIN. If same sex attraction is a problem ,that requires even more diligence, prayer and usually special attention. Homosexuality is not natural. The end goal result of life ( natural or otherwise) is to beget MORE LIFE. Homosexuality can not do that, it is a desire of the flesh only. Which is why now, when it is lauded ,admired in the secular world to be "LGBTQ++" more than any time since the fall of Rome in the West, it is paramount that persons be counseled by the faithful, as called upon ( depending on your station in life) or referred to Church Dogma and Tradition and a Father or suitable person for further assistance along the path to Holiness . I could continue but I've said more than enough. I in no way wish to be disrespectful to you. I do disagree with some of your points and wanted to explain to you my reasoning as to my opinion. May God Bless you and continue to recover your health. I will include you in my prayers and hope for all of our Church to grow and spread God's Word upon the world .
@allsaintsmonastery I must apologise, because I never meant to imply you advocated same-sex-marriage in the Church. I was simply confused about what the point of your mentioning homosexuality was. Please forgive me. I do see some people here in Finland advocating homosexuality as a valid form of relationship, even our Archbishop commented on it positively, that is probably why I had to ask.. I do recognise that there are more important problems facing our church and I apologise if I offended you
Thank you! You have in a very good way answered a question I asked some weeks ago. User "themanofearth" 23 hours ago expressed my thoughts as well ;-))
I do not see what the problem is at all. When God made Adam and Eve he did not say how he made them in detail, who says that he did not create them using evolution?
@smartwarlord With 3 sons and 6 grandchildren, it is not likely that I am Gay. The very fact that you think that governments should execute people for some condition they are born with tells me that you are a Neo-Nazi and an enemy of America. You most certainly cannot claim to have any sort of relationship with Christ Jesus. But you dark and evil heart will take you yet more darkness and yet more evil.
@CultExposer I have watched a number of them, and all I see from your ilk is blind and hopeless ideology; you people have a vry fragile faith, if indeed you have faith at all. It is sad that your faith must collapse in the face of reality, but then you believe in your self rather than in God.
@CultExposer One cannot teach either faith or morality in an immoral way, and lying and deceiving people is not moral. You and those who are trying to teach as you do are simply lying and most young people know that you are lying.
I think I will call you Gandolf-Puhalo or Otttowa-Gandolf? GandolfO!- because you have such charisma! I want to use Darwin to defend God because Darwin did more for God and creationism than you! Who is teaching you this as you obviously have no techincal training? - have you read Darwins work? I have and it seems you have not as Darwin is also NOT taught in schools ....hhmmm why would that be? ...should his work not be in its 80th edition by now? ..... actually Darwin never claimed evolution was correct and actually PROVED it was NOT TRUE . In other words that any species of plants came from a set of original plants -there is not 1 "seed" as such whereby all plants originate. A "set" of plants/birds from a set of plants/birds...etc and as much as they "evolve" -they "DE-volve. You should read more. The beaks of the birds Darwin monitored grew and also shrunk.... etc. 2nd Law of Thermodynamics: The second law will not permit order to spontaneously arise from disorder. (period) Do you have a labratory where you show this?? This is particulalry true of any energy or cell. How do you explains billions of years of "positive mutation" without any de-volution, chance, error leading to negative mutation (mutation which does not blindly follow a set set pattern to create a nervous system for example) and other mathematical principals? Chance places a big part in the hole of evolutionary theory. You can be the strongest animal on the earth but an "ice-age" can kill your species. A lion strongest of all but a simple thorn causes it to chew its own paw off -now its the weakest. How did then dinosaurs mate for all those billions of years? How much energy is required to create an "ice-age" and then how much energy to remove that "ice age" and where did this energy come and go from? Oh and why did it come an go? Did not ROCOR as much as it is "left wing" and liberal as they are - even they told you to stop these video's? Go Gandolf!

[10] And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. 1Tim.3[16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. The idea that mary is the mother of God is from pagan religions and entered into the Romanist church in the 4th century from Mespopotamian and Canaanite religions. It is from the many "mother of the gods" and her son "king of the gods" religious beliefs. It was adopted by the Romans into Christianity and merged with it. Romanism (Roman Catholicism) is a mixture of paganism and Christianity. It is not Christianity.

That verse was not talking about physical death.@@drewstinson3901

@GallusSapien I am not trying to amaze. only to encourage believers toward reality and common sense.
@saveta0126 Thankk you for your letter. It is much appreciated. Of course, there is hope for everyone,. We must never lose hope.
@neildingman Not off at all. Christ came to redeem all of creation, as Apostle Paul says.
But I think it is best if we don't get into such details yet until we have definite answers.
did you get an answer? I can refute every word out of his mouth.
@allsaintsmonastery Amen.
Vladyka,
I actually wanted to ask you to make a similar video so I'll ask a few questions here.
Jesus Christ, son of God, please forgive us for we are sinners.
right?
Adam and Eve can still maintain their identity as the first HUMANS. We still come from Adam and Eve. This is completely compatible with evolution.
It is not an ecumenical heresy. Don't be disingenuous. I believe in Jesus because of eyewitness accounts, and overall evidence. This is a PERFECT reason to believe in him.
There is still a fall in humanity
Mathematics has disproven evolution. Genesis is literal and has the consensus of patristics agreeing. These modernists want to sound smart.
@manutdfan4321 Agreed :-D
@smartwarlord Ah, yet another wild-eyed fanatic. You could always join the Talaban where your spirit really is. Burned anyone at the stake lately??

Lying, Stealing, Murder,
Idolatry,Adultery,Covetousness,Disrespect of Parents, authorities, etc are ALL un-natural to the man of God.

I do recognise that there are more important problems facing our church and I apologise if I offended you

I do not see what the problem is at all. When God made Adam and Eve he did not say how he made them in detail, who says that he did not create them using evolution?
Darwinism and creationsim are both rediculous.

The idea that mary is the mother of God is from pagan religions and entered into the Romanist church in the 4th century from Mespopotamian and Canaanite religions. It is from the many "mother of the gods" and her son "king of the gods" religious beliefs. It was adopted by the Romans into Christianity and merged with it.
