Thank you for explaining this. I kept telling husband something wasn’t right. And this video nailed it.
Nice!
Explained perfectly that is the video that I have been looking for fixed my proublem thanks a million
Thank you for your great explanation
Thank you for this information! Learned a lot.
Nice!!
Thanks for the video
thank you for the clear video
cheers!
Damn at that jack!!! Love it.
T.Y. so much for explaining. Yrs ago rotors lasted so much longer and could always get them turned for free
Outstanding, clear explanation on the issue!
Thank you for video...I think you might have just solved my problem. Does not do all the time but every one in awhile coming to stop peddle start to futter or like you said pulsating feeling. Appreciate your video .thank you.
good, straight to the point explanation, cheers!
Thanks!
I just put new brake pads on my truck and before with the old ones it didn’t do this, could it be warped rotors or something else?
Will this happen every time you press the brakes? I believe I have experienced this myself a few times on the same car over the past 1 and a half, but only a couple times.
I took my car to the shop charged me over 1600 dollars and still had the issue, came across this video got a rotor and installed it myself problem went a way, thanks so much
Stay out of shops
How old is that jack! Wow! I love it. You should make a video restoring it. What brand is it?
Replaced the brakes and rotors but still getting same issue. Was told it could be the abs sensor or pump. Thoughts?
My truck has this issue but I think its the abs module that's going bad why because ive replaced alot of parts from break pads, struts, break discs, emergency break discs, speed sensors and break fluid last things I need to check is break booster and abs module my truck is 21 years old so it might be the abs module or break booster.
I have a 2006 chevy Malibu but my front in shakes when applying brakes I have new rotors and brake pads so does anyone have any information about this
My 98 Nissan Maxima had real bad pulsating. Turns out my CV Axle Shaft was slightly bent.
exactly happenned what u said letting the pad wear too far. it destroyed one caliper. So I replaced one caliper, both rotors, and pads about 4 months ago.. It was great at first. Then gradually steering shakes when braking hard getting worse. I had the problem before with the old rotors too. 200K miles on the car. Why comes back?
Lower ball joints may be bad.
Also seems like drum probably pulse less because the actuator is much small so even if they push fluid out it's a very small amount.
Yea.
does rotor warp change the thickness of the rotor in different areas?
Depends...sometimes yes
I have this problem. thank you. I'll change the rotors and brake pads.thanks
Luis Salcedo is it expensive
@@sweetiepie4328 yes, about $982.00
i replace my front ones and still pulsing. i have to to do the back? rotors
same here
WHEEL SENSOR@@shawnpa
any suggestions if i'm still getting the pulsing even after new brake pads and rotors??
Something bent.
Check lower ball joints.
I have new ones, but haven't got them on yet.. I'll see what happens after I get them on.. thank you :)
Mine only does it every now and again . Rotor is perfect , pads in excellent condition , no suspension issues visible.
Realize this is old post, but most likely a hub/wheel bearing thats not running true. Or some of the cheap rotors are known to be not the greatest out of the box...
What could be the problems my brake pedal pulsate when I applied the brake at 50km/hr
Warped rotor....sounds like.
Random G where you not listening
1:20 "brake line pushes that power steering" I'm sorry but did you misspeak or is there actually some correlation between the power steering and the brakes?
The vibration is amplified more through the steering wheel sometimes when you hit the brakes also sometimes causing the steering wheel to shake and the brake pedal to pulsate together. There somewhat connected through the feels of the warped rotor.
I have a 2010 lexus ls460 I just changed the lower control arms put new lexus rotors and lexus pads all new lexus hardware something is still pulsating when I brake I had an alignment done all 4 wheels were balanced yesterday and im still feeling shaking he say he checked the tires he didn't see anything wrong
Rear rotors/ drums... check
@@FixingWithPassion its only when I brake like its coming from the front still could it be the hub or a tire/rim
@@FixingWithPassion A Lexus doesn't have drums my god
You missed the senser
What is petal
It's a Daisy...not a Mexican flowertop.
Ive replaced brakes and
rotors still shaking ?
O my!
Caliper pins might be sticking.
@@russrandall6146 it ended up being bad wheel bearings it was messing with the abs some how.the problem is fixed now
@@rubenmiller1106 if it happens again try testing the ABS harness. Glad you got it fixed.
@Ruben Miller, what’s the main problem Sir?
what to do if the problem still continues even after changing the disc and pads ?
Moses David probably the brake drums
Mine does that when at high speeds but not for braking
Mine does that too, but its still most likely a bad rotor.
Mines happens around 80kph or 50 mph. At low speed i dont feel it.
I ended up buying brand new drill slotted rotors And brake pads for my camaro and don’t have that problem anymore
@@michaelpast19 Nice!
What year Camaro?
Man. It's frustrating, no AGGRAVATING living in an apartment. I have nowhere to work on my truck and no space in my apartment for floor jacks, power/air tools, etc. I am having a similar issue. I think it was caused by a chunk of ice that got caught in my tire recently. I know squat about cars so I am assuming that is what it is. I have been a PC technician for over thirty years and I feel like I have wasted my life on that garbage. I should have focused on auto mechanics.
I hear ya man I'm going back to college for welding so I can make good money and get a nice house with a garage
When I was apartment life I found other apartments complexes that sell garage units, had a few at a few locations
What if you feel the brakes pulsating but you dont feel it in the pedal.. its like the brake pressure comes goes but the pedal stays the same..? Ive changed the front rotors & pads and it went away and came right back after just a few weeks. Ive got drums in the back and i know theyre not the newest ones but they seem fine. Anyone have a suggestion? Its a 2011 toyota iQ
Tires
@@FixingWithPassion theyre brand new new as well :/ i really dont know what to do anymore
Wheel Sensor friend@@ebebimik
Power Steering...????
I have brand new rotors
And still having the problem
The correct answer is your anti lock brake sys causing the pulsating on the pedal - it senses it
Can washing my car warp rotors 😂 oops I saw steam
Na....;D
Petal Massage? This turned out to be a very different video.
american cars rust a lot
any car that has to face snow in the winter and salt/grit on the roads to melt that ice will be just like that, my 2008 megane in scotland is just the same and its a less than 10 year old car
Megan is a french car which is not build for winter, buy a car for winter instead like Volvo which not rust.
i know what you mean but there is no more swedish steel anymore, its all made from chinesium steel, even bahco is not made in sweden anymore
Not a Chevrolet...but a Ford O yes I have a 2007 Escape XLT that has less than 92,000 miles on it and wheel wells and frame are complete rusted through...never again will I buy a ford ( non-galvanized metal ) yet a great video explaining rotor issues with braking skipping, shuddering and vibrating
