Do you sit down and treat rap like a puzzle, looking at the poetic meter, analyzing the schemes, how flows intertwine with context, flipping of syllables, figure out deeper wordplay instead of going to genius...or are you one of those guys that just listens to rap then act like you understand poetry? Have you even taken poetry courses?
Just because someone might be lyrical doesn't mean they're an OG. Read some books.
