  • Commuting takes me 2 hours round trip. I wanna ride fast. Over the course of a year, you can save a lot of minutes. New Scorcher 406mm tires and Ridenow tpu inner tube test. Ditched the tpu inner tubes. Kept the Scorchers for now, but with sealant and butyl inner tubes.

Thorn, yes, usuall no show the thorn I think we should see the thorn to help with what tube to use. Most of us don’t have that type of thorn that you fine in the desert. I’m guessing it’s a five pointer , no mater how it’s laying on the ground at least one point sticks up . There hell on any tire even motorcycle tires.

Inner tube thickness is no barrier to the longer ones. No matter how thick, it will puncture. Carbon fiber panel will be punctured too.

2:00 : That's why I don't ride with a flag. (I come across some golfcourts too on my routes and they don't have those huge nets ...) ;-)

Thanks! Rather grainy and you can tell the shutter speed is slow, but decent given the tiny size of the sensor. To do better would require something as good as a recent iPhone sensor, and that'd cost much more.

      @@shenzhenpingpong is this 1/2.3 sensor?

If you have the space, you might consider a full wheel assembly with tire/tube. BobM had this in both of his DFXLs and I have it in the one he sold me. Makes it a simple unbolt and replace when out on the road. Of course might not work as well for enclosed wheels like on the Snoek.

That’s what I used to have in my DF. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work for the Snoek. Suspension and steering plates have to be unbolted.
