Paolo Giovanni Nutini is a Scottish singer, songwriter and musician. He's debut album, These Streets, was released in 2006, in 2009 Nutini released his second album, Sunny Side Up. Nutini loves to mix different styles like pop rock, blue eyed soul, folk, blues and easy listening.
Watching this makes me miss going to festivals

Actually, to be honest I was a bit afraid of him because of that.
I am in love with his music (maybe with him, as well?;)) for about 6 years now and this made me feel happy. Really. God bless this guy...he's a gift for us.

Wow, I thought this was a newer song for Caustic Love, but I guess not. This is one of my favorite tracks on the album.

Radjiobon probably a song that didnt make it on sunny side up but was still fucking good for audiences so they put it on caustic love, OR, they had all that already in the progress and it was just really really new to that time
Right?! Both sound possible. Isn't it a great festival song? I love the intro riff. It sounds so happy but there is a part of the song that makes me feel a nostalgia of bittersweetness...I think it's a great song to precede "Someone Like You" at the end of the album. And since it has more "alternative" or "electric" elements, I guess it fits better on Caustic Love.
Ok, wow I can talk a lot about Paolo, haha.
9 years later and I still think it's my favourite track on the album. 😊
When he performs he totally gets drunk on music. I think his talent should be worshiped in the quite and intimacy of a lounge rather than on those tasteless open concerts. It´s just similar to what they did to the Mona Lisa, with all of the vulgar tourists taking photos with his phones, debasing the true artistry of Da Vinci´s work. I think thats the same reason he gets stage fright, its like if he become undone as soon as he touches the mic. Its really outstanding.

I wouldn't watch him in open concerts, though. He also said that he doesn't like to go/ sing in open concerts because he can't focus on the subtleties.
Can't help thinking of "LA woman" of the doors with this song's first part!

I saw him before and I had good feeling of performance, but if it is so, it's great that the change happened and he's better now :) But I have to admit, that he wasn't so 'out' on Sziget, he wasn't also so drunk and many times he had his eyes unusually opened :D...maybe this is what you mean..?
