There is a saying among IPS officers ."if an IPS is 97% honest it's okay but if he's 100% then he will not be peaceful" .The problem with our system is honest people cannot work peacefully . Yes ,years of preparation go into preparing for UPSC but after getting into service if you're not able to serve the people honestly and face so much pressure from higher ups and politicians it's of no use. There are many IAS and IPS officers who paid their life for being honest like Narendra Kumar ,anurag tiwari and dk Ravi case is suspicious ,even I doubt Mr. Madhukar shetty's death. They were officers who were 100% honest . So it's better to resign and join Politics for honest officers to bring a change instead of being in a system which has deep rooted corruption.
