Super like! You guys work so hard to give highest quality of SMP to your clients. I am your biggest fan. You are my inspiration!!! Thank you so much for this video 🙏
Great vid, really important to inform potential new clients. I can also add the majority of South Korean SMP artists use single needles. The long term results are fantastic 7-10 sessions are not uncommon, due to language differences and internet search engines, westerners dont get exposure to it. Good on you for trying to educate.
Thank you for the comment! I would love to see some of their videos and pictures. The single needle is the only way to go on most skin types if realism, quality, and longevity are the most important factors to consider. 🥳
I love the videos, very informative and transparent. I had SMP done six years ago. It looks ok, the hairline on one side is a little too sharpe and I would like to have my temple areas done. thank you for the honesty in your videos, seriously you guys are awesome!
exactly i use ambition 3rl 018mm cartrige needels and i think is great result for the needel i try to use 0401rl but the result is not show the point exactly greaat video to know new about you guys
I am new to the to SMP. I’m having a hard time finding R1 Needle cartridge. Can you help me and explain what a tapered needle is and what’s recommended a medium needle or a long needle or a hollow. For SMP
Good question. I always go with a single, especially in the back of the head and neckline. In addition, the most important factor in treating scars is getting the scar to an optimized condition to take and retain the pigment :)))
@@scalp_logic Damn Joe and Nicole, you constantly give me a good positive vibe. I like how you care so much about your clients. We'll be in touch some time soon.
Very interesting. I've been looking at your after photos of your clients. I've also seen after photos of other companies, even companies with the best artists. Your single needle impressions look better imo/smaller. But I guess I'm looking at the results from my perspective b/c I have very fine smaller diameter bio hair.
Thank you for the comment. Yes, you’re looking from your perspective, but we’re confident every client who wears the treatment prefers the smaller impressions 😁
I've just started out and have completed my training with a fellow smp artist. I'm located in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 . I was trained in the traditional sense with the 3rl needles but I've been watching your videos just trying to soak up info and hearing about your perspective , im just trying to learn more about the industry and different techniques. I follow you guys on Instagram and see your work so I just became curious about trying your technique with the single needle suttle p style lol
@@matthewchipman4960 That’s really good information. It is important to point out that we do our Subtle P with a 3 needle too. It’s not just single needles we use. The point is to make healed impressions the same size as a real hair follicle. This can be achieved with a 0403 rl, a 1401 rl, or other similar sized tattoo needle cartridges :) We are not married to any one needle company so we encourage you try them all! It’s not one that’s better than the rest, but rather different needles for different skin types, head region, etc.
What if the ink will not stay. I know I put it in deep enough, then I don't wash my hair and keep my scalp dry for 4 days, but as soon once I shower a few times after "the healing period"(even though I don't get much scabbing at all), the ink just washes/flakes off...and the whole process ends up being a waste of time😟. Doing it on myself before clients.
I’m from the uk, who was the original training provider you were looking to choose between? Thanks for your advice on needles I totally hear what you’re saying!
Never looked for training provider. Got my treatment in 2009, and choice was just two in the world. HIS hair clinic and Artistry Concepts in Florida. I chose FL bc of financials and turned into an apprenticeship right away!
Hi, I am from Egypt, admire your work very, very much. I burn with solid ink and a needle size 1. Is the ink sweet? Can you tell me about the type of ink that is good for smb for the scalp?
Hi also can you help me with gray wash is that recommended should I use that more for someone that is blonde or redhead. I seen you talked about Regular tattoo ink. But can you help us that are new to SMP about gray wash if it’s recommended to use or dark ink or medium ink.Do you in advance
This color coordination y’all have going on is top level 🔥

Your teacher must have blown
Totally support you for your 1 point needle :)
Thank you very much for watching 🙏 😁😁😁
Do you use the same method for women or density work?
Ye we do, but rarely work on women because of the issues- 2D smp vs 3D hair, it rarely creates a natural and full result.
What works best to remove that linear scar from ear to ear from a hair transplant? A single needle or a 3 needle?

Any 'single needle' practitioners that you know of in the UK?
can you post a link to the single needles that you use id like to try them out
We normally offer that info to our mentees we work with.
Do you offer smp for a living or learning with someone?

What machine should I buy
Amazon rotary pen cordless. Make sure reviews are great and plentiful.
would you ever use a .181rl ?
Where can I find that size? I would certainly try it out on the right skin.
@Scalp Logic .18mm 1rl should say
